Hello everyone, i am from Lahore & own my first ever Hyundai Santro Club GV 2005 Current mileage is around 68000Km. I have some problems with my Car & have to take it to some good Hyundai Santro workshop any Pakwheeler can recommend & refer me.

1. Usually i drive on CNG, whenever i turn on AC my car gives some jerks, sometimes turns off. I went to some guy in Faisal Town, Lahore he said your coils are weak & need to be replaced which will cost 1100/- per Coil (2 Coils).

2. I think my car consumption is worse. Today i got petrol of 1000/- in Car & it gave me 100km (without AC) in city. How much consumption should it give.

3. Day before yesterday, I smelled some wire burning smell from Car's indicator Liver, after that Car's lights turning On/Off switch got slightly hard. What could be the problem? After that, when i turn High Beam on, my head lights went off & when i give Dipper, my left light works only :(.

4. I noticed today Car's windscreen viper doesn't operate at 3rd positon (it does work and 1st & 2nd position). Rear viper does not work as well hanging down.

5. Today i drove my friend's Santro & felt my Santro's clutch response is different. My Car's clutch reacts slowly while my friend's Santro clutch reacts like bouncing back @ high speed half the way & than slowly to it's original position. What could be the problem with my Clutch?

6. Which plugs & Engine Oil should i use for it.

Any one can recommend me any good Workshop & Cheap as well as i will be taking car to some workshop tomorrow. . . Waiting for a quick reply from experts. Can tell on mobile as well it will be quick my number is 0344-4463026 (Immad Javed).

Take your car to Hyundai Sajjad Motors on Jail road.

First of all get your car computer scanned as some of the issues are definitely fuel injectors related. Once computer /scanner is hooked, it will show all the faults, keep an eye on the scanner!

It seams wiring inside your indicator lever has burned causing all the electrical issues, but its not a huge problem, a good electricican can take care of it. Front viper issue is also related to it.

Rear viper hanging in Santro is common, you can fix it yourself, u just have to hold the viper in position & tighten the bolt, otherwise, a mechanic at Hyundai can take care of it, defiintely free.

Once your issues are resolved, get your car scanned again, they will not charge you again!!

tell me honestly..... if it is a gr8 car compared to itz rivals within 5.5 lakh range
keeping in view.. economy.. maintainance charges.... comfort... drive quality performance ( bhagi hai ?) aur ac fyt chalta hai?
nd ive heard dat brakes lock quickly..... nd back seat not comfortable... nd clutch nd brake quite close together. plz tell me if these are true
otherwise i really lyk santro

i have kept the car for 5 years its really a trouble free car to drive. the space in the rear is less as compared to cultus but the trunk is more than 75% empty so you can keep ur laguage there. AC is v-cool. the car doesnt loses pick on a/c . milage is also better than all in the 1000cc class. market value is not very bad if u keep it for a couple of years the difference in market value will be covered by the value the car's ride gives. spares available in market no issues they are expensive but unlike suzuki spares will last longer.

i think the throttler body and sensor is dirty. if u wanna get it checked by twin city they will screw your *** u can call on this number for a complete free checkup 03335228414

i have a 2008 santro and was facing the same problem... starts on single self in petrol but then stalls & jerks, while starting on cng it is perfect... i had resolved the issue by cleaning out the IAC sensor and servicing the throttle body using carb cleaner. the carb cleaner any good brand is for 150 to 180rs and the mechanic took 150rs for labour, it takes hardly 30 min to service/clean it.

I was too lazy to go to any mechanic, so I tried resetting the ECU first & its solved the problem, its running fine for last couple of days

@Voodoo: Couple of queries for you, Which carb cleaner & how did he do it? can I do this at home or expert knowledge is required? BTW, my problem has been resolved by resetting the ECU, for past couple of days its working fine.

From the last few days i was feeling some vibration in my santro. after discussing with mechanic, we reached the point that Radiator Fan is generating vibration. Now Some one tell me that can i repair the fan (changing of bearings or bush). And what is cost of new fan.

^^ u own 2004 santro ?
I got this info from hyndai work shop in I sector industrial area ..... that 2004 dont have check engine light ! thats y confirming here ....
A frnd of mine bought one which doesn't have check engine light in panel, i asked him to visit there pit shop yesterday and he came with this it dont have check engine light equipped !
i doubt being MPFI with all sensors and stuff, how come no check engine light there !
thats y confirm from your guyz on forum ....
plz put input of 2004 or older owners of santro !

You will get a used "kabli" motor for Santro from junkyard in Rs. 700-800.
