yaar I got my car converted to power steering from bilal ganj and it cost me 8K.i also asked hyundai township motors and hyundai sialkot motors b4 convertion and they give me cost of 30 to 50 K.i am very satisfied with the conversion and if u want to convert ur car i suggest u to go to place from where i got converted.I have lost the contact no. of the person as my mobile was snatched but when i will visit bilal ganj i will collect the number.

AoA,
I was really interested in buying a Santro.
When I talk to my mechanic he told me that maintainess of the car is high.If you even want to tune the car you have to pay in thousands and only the Hyundai showroom ppl do it and they overcharge while to tune a Carborator engine costs around 200 Rs
also the spare parts are expensive as compared to Suzuki etc etc

My question is is it true ??

this is all wrong. i own a santro exec 4 the last three years but i never had this observation. every mechanic can tune it. efi is not a new think. the only difference is that it was the first 1000cc car with efi whereas all 1300cc and above r efis. as 4 the spares the orignal japanese suzuki spares cost more than the spares of santro

tun kahan cai karvatay ho..??

Well who says Santro is hard to maintain ???

It is very reliable and cheap to maintain aswell. Thanx to its excellent EFi system. (Y)

Tuning only costs Rs. 200 and rest r the expenses of air filter, oil change etc.

BTW

the cost of its genuine Air Filter is Rs. 300

&

Oil Filter is Rs. 180.

Hyndai authorized dealer charge 250 for the Tunning and which include Computerized checkup

Original Air filter cost is 300 , But you can find the air filter cost 120 from spare parts market
In lahore in front of "Mubarak Cinema or Tabbaq BBQ Restrurant"
There are some shops of oil chang , where u can buy the air filter in 120 rs.

Is your santro have Fog light, if yes where u got them fixed , how much money u spend on it

what thing should be change after 20 k

After market fog lamps r easily available in open market and official Dewan has also the fog lamps of SANTRO EXEC.

I have installed after market FOG LAMPS in my Club and it cocts me total of Rs. 2500 with fitting. Now its been almost 2 years.

Original FOG Lamps from Hyundai costs 5k ....
But you can get it approx 2500 from market and these are just lights so you can compromise on it as it doesn't effect engine. But using poor quality air filters and oil filters can do some damage i think.

So don't save little money and at the end spend more money in case of any damage.
