I wonder why?

Guys, the AC button click in/ click out in my santro plus 2001 model is not working. It's stuck in the AC on position. Can't click it to off position. I have tried to look for this button but couldn't find it anywhere in Peshawar. Can someone guide me where can his be found, even if it is Islamabad/ Rawalpindi. I would appreciate if you guys tell me the exact shop and if possible telephone numbers of shops where this particular AC button can be found.

Have bought TYPE-R Aluminum pedal covers, the brake and clutch covers fixed easily, but accelerator pedal has still not been fixed, guide me how to install it, in fact the accelerator stock pedal is small enough that it couldn't be aligned and fixed to the new pedal clips.

please help.

1. Another query is about the AC, my car AC is working fine but only when the car is in the speed of 50 KMPH or above, service done every year with Gas top up, but this problem remained almost the same (A little good effect after every service though), do i need to change the receiver dryer/Accumulator?

2. my car had a problem of Engine oil reduction some two years ago, I changed Valve seals and the problem had solved then (Piston rings were also changed, though not required), Now the car has completed 30,000 KMs after seals and rings changing with no problem, But yesterday I noticed a Blue smoke when I reached office and the car was parked on inclined place with the front slightly up and back down. when I park the car on plane area then no smoke, Also when i give accelerator, at high RPM the car gives blue smoke for a short period of time.

What could be the possible reason? Also recommend some good & honest mechanic in RWP/ISB, & the estimated cost of engine parts required to change in this overhaul, or it will be better to overhaul the whole engine?

Salam PakWheels Fellows. I just purchased a santro november 2003 model please help me out in a few aspects.
My car was shutting off the engine when AC is on when I have to release the acceleration e.g crossing a speed breaker. I went to "Auto Scan" in pwd and a guy named "Qasim" did the service tasks, adjusted tappets, cleaning of throttle body etc. Its my first experience with EFI Car (Previously I Owned a Mehran) so I am not quite familiar with the EFI Stuff. After service, car seems to be ok and doesn't stop on AC but I feel a difference in acceleration. when I slightly press the paddle and release, the rpm increases and after releasing the paddle, it stays a bit high say 1500-1800 and comes back to normal after 2-3 seconds. Is it normal with EFI?
Another Issue is that when I asked the machenic to check the engine with computer as I heard EFI cars are tuned by attaching computer, he ignites the car and said there is no "check engine light" in it. may be it is disconnected or having some issue and left it as it is. I have gone through this fourm and came to know that Nov2003 Model didn't came up with "check engine light". so I want to ask when exactly I may know to tune engine computerized and where are the cables located for EFI tunning.

^^ Thanks to everyone, Now I have another problem, last night a dog was badly hit on Mardan-Malakand road while going to Malakand, I could not apply breaks suddenly, Number plate and lower bumper cracked, the AC condenser fins are also slightly bent, the fins will only be required to straighten by the AC mechanic (Minor damage). while the bumper is cracked exactly in lower middle area below the JALI. pictures will be uploaded soon.

Now I need new bumber, from old parts market, new from 3S dealer or from local new parts market, need your suggestions, and also please share its price. my car is black.

Or I should repair and paint the bumper.

santro bumper is expensive new taiwan is around 4500-5000 i guess.
used is like 4k(kabuli)they say its expensive coz its genuine not taiwan made.
better to look for some insurance claim wala,i found one genuine,had one spacer broken for 600rs:o
its still running like new:)

for your first query please visit any 3S dealer preferably Hyundai Sowan Motors, and tell them the exact RPM problem, they will diagnose and tell you the problem, it might be a clogged or dirty sensor they will clean for good.

for your second question, there is no Check Engine Light in my santro 3003 as well, and people say there is no sensor in 2003 santro.

and engine tuning include also air filter cleaning, and spark plug cleaning, alongwith other stuff you have mentioned like tappet adjustment

rest the expert will shed some light.

I need Santro's Radiator FAN Motor. Any idea how much is new fan w/ motors is for and price for only Motor. Will be appreciated if some one textx me @ 0344-4463026.

I don't have any idea, but Xulfiqar bhai is recommending Hyundai excel Taxi car's CFM fan for Mehran and other cars, So i think if that powerful and CFM fan motor from kabali market can be found and best fit in santro will be good for both the radiator and condenser.

Update me about your progress please.

before buying any vehicle from fsd just inspect the body for rust as the saltish water of fsd is very harsh on car body. plus take a sgood mechanic with you to inspect the condition of the mechanical s and all. Mileage is on a bit higher side but rest looks fine.
