In terms of mileage, they are pretty similar but they will definitely get better once I have driven them a significant amount. Comfort-wise MG has much better seats but the ride quality is more comfortable in Tucson.
Whereas, the brakes of MG are better than Tucson.
I have tried a lot to evaluate which one of them is the clear winner in comparison but it is very hard to do as they both have their own pros and cons. My father bought both of them for himself and he preferred to keep Tucson over the MG HS but that is totally based on personal choice.
