Yes. I have heard it too. But I don't think it will be for 6.5 million.
They had a meeting last week in which they decided the price i.e 55 lacs for top variant if dollar rate remains same

Tucson shape is very disappointing specially from back and interior looks cheap not good... Sport age shaoe is also not very appealing specially from front but inside the cabin feels great... I was anxiously looking fr an Suv but i guess i have to wait for Corolla CROSS now

Globally, Sportage has a little longer life left comparing Tucson. Internationally next gen Tucson is just around the corner so, when we will just start seeing Tucson on the road it will be replaced internationally.

Sportage on the other hand a year left easily and as Lucky started production about a year ago than Tucson, I think we will see the new Sportage before the Tucson next generation in Pakistan.
