Tucson is coming in 2.0L instead of 1.5L as in BRV. Tucson is also 4wd. Hence it would never be under 3.5 million.

That would be a stupid price.

It has to be the survival of the fittest. If they launch at that price, it better be a complete SUV or I hope they die a natural death the same way they did last time around. The whole point of having more manufacturers is to bring down prices and reduce delivery times, not to have more people loot us.

Btw, US versions are either FWD or AWD but not 4WD. Where did you get this 4WD information from?

Bro it's extremely stupid to compare brv with Tucson, Tucson is a competitor to CRV.

Brv is a third world only MPV based on a third world only brio platform.

Tucson starts at 3.5 million plus pkr in all southeast Asia

Even the Indian base model cost 3.1 million in Pakistani currency now throw in Pakistani taxes.

In comparison brv only costs 1.9 million pkr in India.

71 lac won't be the price, it's what importing that car costed Nishat under Pakistan's tax regime, initial sale units will get tax cut under new auto policy and after that they'll assemble CKD units locally expect price in 3.5m + category.

Also KSA prices can't be compared due to tax differences.
Pakistan tax regime on locally assembled cars is similar to ASEAN countries and all local assemblers follow the ASEAN regional principals so compare pricing with the prices there.

Same here in Hong Kong this suv price is around 2lacs HKD which is 2.8 million for premium version
