I am in a pickle buying a car, help a brother out please

Greetings and Assalam o Alaikum folks

I recently got appointed for my job for which I'll have to travel 300 to 600km monthly once back n forth

I have managed to save up money for car and borrow some from friends and family my max budget is 12lac

In market i have mostly stumbled into junkyard worthy cars

So far I have few options help me out pick a one

1.
A Civic 2005 Ferio JDM pearl white, its custom Auctioned(verified) 24th June 2023 1500CC D15 EXI Prosmatic

The car has denting and touch up in bonnet and trunk according to seller, broken rear light(one side)

The culprit with this one is cost of registration, I am opting for sindh registration but don't know how much more ill end up paying
Also cars engine check light was constant on, engine sounded great seller said its a sensor issue, car was vibrating in first gear, ac needs work, also labs were done by customs on chassis number but examination report is missing

Cost 10.5 lacs
Condition: 9/10 (somewhat 8.5ish)

2nd Option

Its a CE100 Indus Corolla 94(japanese) (originally diesel) converted to petrol, engine seemed like 4AFE with AT, silver color, dry showered, car had delayed pick, and AT gear shifting was delayed too around 3K RPM,lots of dashboard noise idling, body is in good condition, registration number region has a little lower resale

Cost 11 lacs
Condition: 8/10

3rd option

20D Saloon 2004 (Silver)

So far car seemed fine but seemed like it was tailgated, left rear fender seemed repaired and the trunk latch border seemed like dented out from inside(accidental from back)other than that seemed good, body was good, engine maybe 60%

Cost : 12.8 lacs
Condition: 7.5/10

4th
Pajero 86 Exceed 5 door(flattop)

Windscreen cracked, old SUV but cheap, corrosion near wheel arches, might need around 1+ lac work, but not right away, the Chassis number had labs done hence color was removed(lab reports available) but due to rust chassis number is fading, engine 50~60%?

Cost : 6 lac
Condition: 5.5/10

Why not consider a Honda city 2001 / 2003

Not an option in my city brother haven't seen many of those, I have looked up most showrooms lots of online ads, so far these few cars seemed understandable, do you have any suggestion on regards to these?

in my opinion corolla will be better choice. for maintenance parts and resale.

My two cents are that it all depends upon the condition of car. I have seen toyotas beyond repair as well. I suggest to opt for a smaller car as that would be a relatively newer model. If you only have these options then go with a car that has no document issues and the most original and untouched exterior and interior. Corolla if saveable is better than all the rest.

In such a scenario, a Mehran would suit you well.

You will be able to get a 2015+ model. The Euro 2 is quite efficient with ac and fuel and it will be relaible.

Toyota Corolla for sure is superior, but by this time the car will have a lot of work done to it with close to nil history of what work has been done to it. One thing you can do is to get yourself a LHD corolla, the market has got a few and they were auctioned in the near past.

I don't believe a pajero will be a good choice.

Thanks folks for the replies, added a poll for votes, and update on Corolla a technician was saying delayed shifts could be a gearbox problem and if that's the case, lots of hassle in that regard

Try to find a clean Indus Corolla or a 9th Gen Corolla GLi.

All your options listed are trouble making cars before u even bought it.... Try look for trouble free cars... I would suggest a 2013 Cultus.. easy maintenance and reliable car.

Impossible to find clean indus corolla... Mehran is good choice realtively new. Need less wear and tear .

Whatever you do, don't use all your money for the car; save some for keeping it in good shape over the next 1 to 2 years. Remember, cars, especially older ones like those you mentioned, need regular upkeep.

Consider starting with a Suzuki for now. After you've returned the money you've borrowed from friends and family, you can start saving for a 10th gen Rolla or 5th gen City. You can work your way up gradually from there.

Have you considered a cultus ? you can get a newer model and spend 1 lac on it and bring it up to spec.

I would recommend the Honda Civic 2005 Ferio JDM. It's the best car on your list, and it's worth the extra cost of registration.

I would highly agree with Mehran and Cultus suggestions

you will get a quite latest, low mileage, well maintained vehicle in your price bracket

Thank you all for your suggestions, I have been thinking about a cultus as an option, I don't know how it is on longer routes 300~600Km, unfortunately Civic Ferio on lost instantly got sold, It was my most favorite on the list, I should have taken the gamble with registration well tough luck, once again thanks
