Not at all satisfied. Tires make too much noise on high speed and gives you a feeling of "gadda" where road is not perfect

Completely agree with rpm, & on road noise. I have 1.3 basic while driving it gives too much noise after crossing 3rpm which is very annoying. While the main concern for me is shifting gears some times it upshifts smoothly like a butter, & sometimes give noises while changing gears. Asked the honda supervisor, he said it has sporty gear shift & its by default came from the honda factory.

When i change gears, iusually hold clutch & then i wait for half a sec while changing gears. Is it the correct practise?

Yeah. I think it is the clutch. Full clutch is not pressed untill you push it to the end. And the space there is also narrow. This happens to me more When I drive with my chappals or sandals, which have broad front.

The practice is right. U press the clutch and then shift gear up/down. Meanwhile you have to match the revs with the gear you are gonna apply. Otherwise you will have a jerk and noise.

Remove if there is any rubber mat or carpet below the clutch paddle and about the noise it is normal Honda makes engine for better fuel economy at low rpm and more power at high rpm, it has max torque at 4800 rpm so it should run at high rpm at a speed of 100 to 120. Live with it and enjoy the drive.

I have placed rubber matts. Planning to replace the. With carpet ones. And about noise. I believe that's how an ivtec engine works. Economy on lower rpm and power on higher. But tyres do play a role in this as you know when driving that this isn't engine noise. I think it will improve after first oil change and by installing plastic lining under bonnet and engine bay tray

I have noticed that after installing engine bay tray the engine sound coming into cabin has increased. Before its installation there was negligible & unnoticeable engine sound in the cabin. It's my observation.
Regarding tyres noise, at around 60-80kmph speed u feel tyres noise, after that air noise masks the tyres noise.

silly question here. is the mileage on the odometer really off by that much from manual calculations? my '09 City is pretty accurate to within +- 0.4 km/l vs manual calculations done by driving from full then filling to the brim again and calculating.
