Day-2 (25/8/2016 From Mirpur~Kotli~Rawalakot~Bagh)
Next day early in the morning we checked out the hotel and started traveling from Mirpur to Kotli along with Mangla Dam. Initially road condition was good after some kilometers road was not in good shape and some patches were very rough and horrible so mixture of fair & very bad. Our plan was to stay night at Banjosa Lake. On the way we stopped at some places for snapping as we stayed shortly at Tararkhal for some refreshment, petrol & prayer. We reached Banjosa Lake at about 16:30 hours via Sudhnoti~Balooch chowki~Tararkhal. We cancelled to stay night at Banjosa Lake due to the high rent rates of guest houses took some snaps in hurry and continued our travelling towards Rawalakot as now our target was Rawalakot for night stay. When we reached Rawalakot the sun was setting. I rang up to my friend (Biker & PBC member) Mr. Khurram as he belongs to Bagh City and he was there and waiting anxiously for us. I told him regarding the whole situation and he said please not to stay in Rawalakot and continue your traveling towards Bagh city via Shuja Abad road as this is a shortcut road that connects Rawalakot with District Bagh. I never like to travel at night on the bike in the hilly area especially with a female. This was first time that we were traveling after the sunset. We started traveling towards Bagh city. The road condition was good except some bad patches. It was dark everywhere. There was no traffic. We stopped at a bridge (I have forgotten that placeās name) by AJK Police and asked some questions, identification & verification and finally they have permitted us for further traveling towards our destination. From there I talked to Mr. Khurram and he told that I am also on the bike and coming to you. Please continue your traveling. We were about 9~10 Kilometers short from Bagh when Mr. Khurram met us on the way. We checked in the Bagh tourism hotel (arranged by Mr. Khurram). It was nice hotel very cooperative staff. We stayed there 03 nights unfortunately against our plan due to unexpected rain. I had checked the weather forecast for those particular areas before proceeding and according to all weather reports the weather forecast was sunny. The rain cycle had come suddenly in these areas and including other parts of the country. The Almighty Allah knows and decides better for us as we donāt know anything anyhow, Mr. Khurram gave us company from his precious time during those days as he was busy with 02 marriage ceremonies in his family. We paid only Rs.1, 600/- for 03 nights stay (due to Mr. Khurram). Thanks and God bless u brother Khurram.
Here are the details as we stayed in the Bagh
As on 26[SUP]th[/SUP] August, 2016 (Friday) we wanted to visit Las danna as Mr. Khurram briefed us regarding the route & conditions. The weather was sunny and we left for Las Danna on the way there was a water channel on the road named (Sunny Kass) we couldnāt manage / judge that water channel and fell in the water there. There was a big gap between two edges and resulting left side mirror broken. There was newly constructed mosque after the water channel. We stopped there for Jumma prayer and after jumma prayers the locals and a jeep driver forbade us that from here road is not in good shape and weather is going to be cloudy and if the rain came on the top you will be inconvenient so donāt visit further because road condition ahead is not suitable for us. Las Danna was only 6 Kilometers away from that point but from there road condition was uneven, rough, and steep totally off road, We decided against travelling further and a local person helped us to cross back the water channel. We took some snaps and came back. We told the whole story to Mr. Khurram and he arranged the side mirror for me then decided that inshah Allah tomorrow we all will visit Las danna again. After Maghrib prayer I & my wife went out for a visit of the Bagh city & dinner.
Next day (as on 27-8-2016) there was not good news for us. The rain was started. We couldnāt go out even for breakfast after waiting a lot then hotel manager arranged breakfast for us in the room. We were waiting & praying for stopping of rain. Mr. Khurram was also waiting at his home. The rain stopped at about 4 or 5 pm in the afternoon but weather was still cloudy. Mr. Khurram rang up that be ready I am coming we will visit the Bagh surroundings. We enjoyed very much there as the weather was so pleasant after rain. We enjoyed there with some sightseeing & snapping. In the evening Khurram bhai excused that he is going to attend the wedding function (Mehndi) of his cousin. We came back to hotel. Khurram bhai visited again to us in our hotel after the wedding function and we chatted a long there. Finally this has been decided that we will check out the hotel tomorrow and our next destination was Sudhan Gali.
