Sorry for the late reply. but it could be a few things which could be causing the symptoms you described. Usuallyit's just bad timing. but it could be that your coil is getting old or that your rotor (inside ditributor) is worn out. best to get the whole car checked up once and get anything which needs to be done at once to avoid headaches.

appart from that just keep checking the oil and enjoy the driving experience.

First off congrats on your purchase! its a very nice VW overall.

Thanks for ''looking me up'' on Orkut and appreciating my knowledge (read passion) of VWs. I have noted the issues and now found the topic here on PW as you had requested. 

Theres good news and theres bad news.

Ok bad news first as its not so bad after all. I need a bit of time to come up with one of my famous 'write ups' to help you out.

The good news is that I can help you out and almost guarantee excellent results. Had you been in Karachi, I believe I could have fixed the issues on your car in just a couple of hours.....and that too for only a drive around the coast and an ice cream!!

So hang in there and just wait patiently for my long write up. Its going to have loads of info but Ill try to be as simple as possible so that a first timer can understand most if not all of the things involved.

aridsoul... It is running quite alright bro but there are some things to do to keep it running. Firstly I'm concentrating on its engine... then its suspension/bearings etc. After that i'll go for the looks... All i need is a reliable mechanic.
