Very informative! Knew a 3-4 yrs old child in my hometown, who lost his life by drinking kerosene oil. I have also observed most of the painters/furniture polishers have weak lungs reason being they tend to inhale large quantities of petroleum based products at work.

Yar since we dont have Hi-Oct available in Peshawar, I usually take my tapkas (gallons) with me to Isb and fill them up. You can create suction in the pipe by inhaling softly and then quickly inserting it into the petrol tank. The suction will empty the container easily. But I got impatient and sucked too hard.

Actually, from what I've read. One should not induce vomiting after petrol poisoning because it might leak into the lungs. It can do some major damage there. Best thing to do is rush off to the hospital if large quantity is swallowed

A similar incident happened to me as well abt a year back. The burps tasted awful! It wasn't a pleasant experience! I drank a whole litre of Lemon Malt to make the burps go away. Try it.

I wish I could but I am recovering from really bad throat and flu. Cant have lemon malt either way Im just gonna bear it!
