I’m going to UK, in the first week of next month, to study: Automotive Engineering with MotorSports.
I chose the University of Hertfordshire. The university has one of the most successful formula student team, overall top five in the world & at first place in Europe. The university has deep links with the industry & SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) & it offers a variety of courses from Automotive design, technology, management & to Motorsports.
The university has a defined automotive sector with four wind tunnels & all advance technological facilities. Racing team has many partners & sponsors.
I met the Marketing Director of Brunel University: Mr. Christopher Price, in person. He told me that Hertfordshire is a very specialized university; regarding Automotive & Aerospace. And also that if you want to go for Auto, in Europe, it'd really worth to go for Hertfordshire. Though Brunel itself is a lot better university with all Automotive courses & Formula team.
If you're willing to go to Japan, The University Of Tokyo will be the best, it's in the top ten list of whole world's universities. They're offering Mechanical Engineering & also Aero/Astro-nautics. But I'm afraid they won't be teaching you in English, but if they are teaching in English, go for it eye closed.
If you want to go for UK, I think I can guide you well, coz I’ve been through all this, you can contact me if you’re really serious & passionate.
