Standard businesses require inventory of goods (investment), space to sell goods (rent) in addition to other factors like payback period (RoI) and luck mostly.

It would be an idea worth working on to hunt exotic and sought for items from Bilal Ganj & Shah Aalmi mkts at bargain price and sell them here on PW with a sensible margin. Mind it, many guys are doing it already...

I guess if worked thoughtfully, it can be a decent enough business to learn ins and outs of trading first hand.

I have started my freelance work of Software development with initial investment of Rs. 28,000 in 2014 while in Rs. 150K, me & my junior we opened a lil software house in Karachi (within this 150K, 7 thousand per month is the rent of office in opposite of Betul Mukarram & we paid 21 thousand as 3 month advance in it). Rest of expenditure was of systems & office used furniture & cabinets ).
We bought 6 systems in Rs. 48K (8K per PC)
Furniture 4800 (6 tables, 6 chairs)
rest 80 K was salary of 4 Software engineers from our NED(20K per Software Engineer)
Internet 2000
electrical work did by us ,only paid for switches & network cable(max. in 5K)
rest amount for stationary & other small items

i have read somewhere of business of birds breeding, I agreed with him as my cousin took 2,500 from me when he was jobless & just for buying pairs of birds from Lalokhet 10 number & he bought only for his hobby
but then he kept interest & now he used to buy & sell parrots,birds, different breeds & saving almost 10K(after expenditure of his petrol, bajra etc.)

Please do not misguide and discourage other guys if u have not experienced yourself

Bro can you please list the services you deal in and marketing part etc. also? And what is current status of your freelance/web business?

place it as a down payment and lease a vehicle that you can rent out - earn and pay the installments as you go;

1. if a van, for children's pick and drop to school, which then can be used after school hours, for family/friends or can be rented out to any marketing company that would skin it for their advertisements (mostly the evening is thought to be the best advertising time)

2. if a carrier/pick up, engage it with a good home appliances business locally, the prominent kind - with summer at hands, there is going to be plenty of home appliances sales and thus money in it for you

3. if a car, rent it out on monthly basis to any company that outsources the cars instead of buying itself for its staff/business
