Very nice 🏻 it is believed to be a difficult shot and one has to have skill to perform such a shot in those conditions your son is indeed a good marksman.
As for the haters they will never understand i can use the term parhay likhay jahil for them.
Islam has Allowed hunting and the animal which is hunted the hunters enjoy its meat afterwords.. who are they to object to it.. so anyone who has a problem should renounce the religion and go vegan to prevent hunt and slaughter of animals.. and definitely avoid celebrating Eid ul Adha.

Just woundering, what would we call the 'Ziba'h' of thousands of goats, cows, chickens etc? millions of fish and other sea animals captured every day? and above all billions of people eat them?

A brother pointed out above that hunting is hala'al in Islam (as a sport or for eating purposes?). Was this hunting for eating purpose? or for the sake of making a record only and meat was never consumed?

By the way, nature has its own ways of dealing with living and non-living (are there any?) things!

Just pondering myself - may be a food for thought for you too!

Thats' just a targetted killing, not hunting for hunters enjoying afterwards, i don't see it been skinned to put up on fire to BBQ, to celebrate the trophy.

Apparently it is not visible in the pictures but usually such cases they are slaughtered near the shoulder blade where the neck starts so that the hide is not damaged for taxidermy purposes

Sir if was slaughtered rightly keeping in view for the thropy.
I have more than 30 experience in hunting including big game. I don't hunt any more. My son is My student now.
The thropy is made by The only world renowned taxidermy person in Pakistan

Sir we had all the equipment including gopro DSLR etc but after 14 days it was just the gun and hunt see in the end he had climbed to 12000ft wearing just sneakers. And the day of hunt pics were taken from OPPO phone on the top.
In the end it is gun and man behind the gun.
Hard to explain how tough and rough this hunt was.

Not appreciated, even it is done with a legal license. Ibex is our national animal and we will vanish it from land very soon. Good luck to young boy for his passion for Olympics, killing animal is not necessary for that. Thank you.

I too have lived in Skardu for 2 yrs. Went wild rabbit hunting once 1/3 way b/w skardu and Shigar. Shot wild ducks in katpana and sadpara. Fished for trout. All at the age of 5-6. Ibex meat is tasty as hell. Had a trophy head and skin at home. good old days. Skardu i 've lived in is no longer there.
