Well, with Kalam temps at night mentioned upto -17 degrees, we had repeatedly warned all to make sure Good Battery n proper anti-freeze was used.

All petrol motors (8/14) started almost on first cranking, the diesels needed a few heaters and cranking a bit, but even they all started within a minute or two! And this was mostly before 9am!

Apologies in advance for the vdo shaking and quality. Holding a DSLR in hand while driving in manual tranmsission car on a rough dirty icy snowy track, what do you expect?? Joined multiple small clips and had to reduce the image quality for reducing the vdo size. Just let it load and view our most beautiful land!

I'm sure you are referring to my diesel because you were standing right in front of it when i started it. Yeah it took like 15 seconds longer than usual and I was surprised at that because it shouldn't have. So I came back and checked the glow plugs Monday morning and two out of four are shot, so there you go!

Other than mine I don't think any other diesel took longer cranks.... and btw the evo started on fourth crank which is no big deal at all... I was standing right there!

No I wasn't. The jist of my comment was that surprisingly it wasn't difficult to get them all started at all. I have seen diesels taking much longer to start in Islamabad.

Wasn't present by their side when everyone was starting. Nomi 's LJ70 and BJ60 took a bit longer cranks from what I remember. But anyway, wasn't having dig at anyone at all!

Infact was thinking spending that much dosh on the coolant was probably unnecessary for this trip. Hopefully it will come to use in future!
