Now its third day i.e., 03.07/17 which we have planned to explore Bamburet valley. Our driver came late at 11:00 AM due to rectification of his vehicle. Due to this we decided only to go Bamburat. We arrived there at 01:00 PM. visit complete valley on foot, their grave yard, special Women houses & their museum which is called KALASHA DUR in their language. We wasted almost one hour to find out that museum and succeeded when asked them about Kalasha Dur. We cannot visit their small village due to time shortage but taken all information from Kalashi women & museum personnel. As per our information, approx. only 2000 people left as Kalashi religion otherwise all are converted to Islam.
Also their culture is almost going to finish except their festivals. Their men cultural dress is almost finished but one thing after 15 years, they know urdu language very well & much commercialized. But unfortunately, no infrastructure exists there, Govt. has no interest to develop tourism there. Their natural beauty is going to finish due to extra ordinary commercialism. For natural beauty, you have to go out of this commercial area.
But their museum is wonderful with their old culture very well saved. We spent almost 4 hrs & then came back Ayun Fort Inn at 06:40 PM
Pictures of Bamburat valley is now sharing.
