^^ Okay here is the thing... out of my rides, at the moment i like silver more because it's windows are tinted and with tints the car really looks beautiful be it any car. But if both cars are in stock shape then my vote goes for white color coz this civic looks huge in white and if you plan to get it tinted then you'll have a kick *** ride in your hands and just add 205mm tires to it because it's the best size for 8th gen. civic.

Can you please tell me the invoice date ? coz I checked from the Excite Taxation office, They said there is a penalty on Old Invoices

It is around 10 Nov which means it can be registered till 10 Jan without any penalty.

Invoice amount has nothing to do with penalty. My cousin who booked in August with 2038k invoice still hasn't gotten delivery. He will get in March when invoice will be around 2110k (yes price increase expected in Jan frmo current 2074k).

Penalty starts 2 months after invoice date (and invoice is generated on the day of delivery or 1 day after it)

Just called Honda Atlas Customer Support and they said they are unable to give a delivery date as production is halted so I may get the Booking confirmation letter by the End of December or by start of January.

Moreover he added that 9th Generation Civic will be available in Showroom in November or December 2012 ..... :o

I was in the same confusion for last 3-4 months and now I regret that I got late in deciding. Prices are going to increase again very soon (Toyota has already increased it) and price will continue.

New Civic will be introduced at a higher price tag (2.2 base Model and 2.5 for Top of the line) ((( THIS IS MY ASSUMPTION ))) so set your priorities.

I think you should not wait more , One thing I learnt the hard way is, the more you wait the more you suffer , price wise in Pakistan

And I was like, by Jan, the price would again be 50k higher so what's the point of waiting... And guess what... Prices rose by about 35k the next day I got my car... I got lucky alhamdulilah... Invoice of my base model civic was 1715 and it was 1748 the next day or next to next day...
So yeah... The more you wait, the more you suffer... especially when you're to buy a car here...

One thing I have learnt is never to rely on rumors. When I was about to buy my 8th gen in 2010 everyone told me that a facelift was coming in March 2010 and a new model by Jan 2011. I am glad I did not listened to those guys and bought Feb 2010 VTI Oriel Pros for 1824k. Now the same car is for over 2200k

No buddy, you didn't at all ! I am happy to help ! Let me know when you book yours ! and I must say good decision because what do you think will be the invoice price of this same car after 2-3 months ? I am 100% it will be more then what It is now so Just go ahead and make your decision !

WHITE IS THE NEW BLACK! White civic looks elegant,is easy to clean, cooler in Summers,stands out ,looks sporty n just marvellous! Silver is a decent colour but ill leave it for the maturer people! So White all the way.
