I have a question that where to enter prior year refundable tax figure in tax return.
Adding figure in 92101 shows no effect in refundable income tax.
But if we add this figure in minimum tax then effect shows but minimum tax is something different.

Kindly explain.

Code 92101 will show its effect only if you already do not have sufficient tax deducted.
For example: Your refundable tax for the present year is lets say Rs. 5000. If you add Rs. 20,000 in code 92101 it will show no effect.
However if your admittable income tax is 7000 for the present year (means you need to pay 7000 from your pocket to FBR), and now you add 20,000 in 92101, now your admitted income tax will also get zero (means you do not need to pay anything now to FBR) and Excess Income Tax paid will also be zero ( if adjustment has been done from previous years excessive balance then it is only used for adjustment and excessive balance cannot be positive in such a scenario)

When I was on job (till start of 2018), I always get refund from my office by providing them receipt of paid income tax i.e. on car token, phone bill (on my name) etc. Even Sometime if the amount is bigger then I would get the refund mid year, instead of waiting for end of fiscal year.

Can anyone guide how overseas Pakistani become Filer and declare their assets and wealth in Pakistan?
Can they become Filer from abroad there(online) or do they have to come Pakistan for becoming Filer

in order to become a filer

you shall register over FBR IRIS website using your CNIC a verifiable email address & A Local Working valid biometric verified cell number.

before that i suggest you compile following data:

1. The account in Pakistan to which you've been sending foreign remittance with its opening date, IBAN number and status ( joint / individual / either survivor )

2. account statment of past 3 years 2016. 17, 18,

3. any immoveable property acquired / dsiposed against your cnic during 2016-2018
4. compiled expenses data of 2016-2018 catered from that bank account
5. detailed record of foreign remittance made to that account during 2016-2018

once you have all above compiled and ready only then start to register at FBR website.

make sure that your ID & Password and PIN code for FBR remain in your control. That you can do so only when you register over FBR yourself. Provide details to consultant for access any attempt for change by him will give you an alert via email / sms over cell phone.

How to get tax certificate on prize bonds winnings? and where to declare it?

State Bank issue the certificate at the time of en-cashment against the cnic of person collecting the money. The prize money is released after deduction of mandatory with-holding tax

that prize money declaration will be under wealth statement item 7006

The withholding tax under Section 156 of the Ordinance shall be final tax for the recipient of prize payment.

No certificate was issued, amount was transfered in account.

which bank transferred to your account ? State Bank of Pakistan is authorised for payment of prize money over Rs. 50,000 and they provide proof of bank transfer with WHT amount mentioned.

I have a refundable amount in tax year 2018 My account department did not adjust the amount in current year 2019 tax year.My question where i put the value of 2018 amount because it can continue show to my IT return 2019 while i try to adjust my account section in current year.
