i thnk d problem with d pak bike industry is dat most people prefer d cd70, cd 125 ovr evrythng else...why wud a manufacturer invest heavily and bring out a bike like a pulsar or an apache or evn d FZ for dat matter coz d people will still prefer the cd's..i dont need 2 give examples, those who hav been reading dis topic wud knw...

in India, there are ample choices for 'Decent' styled bikes, stylish and sporty bikes, retro styled bikes and also foreign imports like Ducati's, Hayabusa's and R1's.

whatever ,I swear by Royal Enfield Bullet ,though This Motorcycle literally got 1930's technology inside.It is a favourite for Long Distance tourers as well as wanna be macho guys(ME?)

@2468: Touring on Bullet is a craze which is many decades old.there are regular touring groups all over India. Believe me ,you will get addicted to Bullet When you get accustomed to it.I Hope ,I too will get a chance to tour India on a Bullet They are not Harley Davidson nor Triumph's.but Bullet is truely different.

I owned Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 4S(new bullet electra 5S Costs Rs90,000).This Bike weighs anywhere between 175kgs to 200kg depending upon the customization.Considering other small bikes ,this is a very different experience.I think Some England Made Bullets may be there in pakistan as well.True?

Royal Enfield Diesel are History.They sounds good .the 1960's Bullet Diesels remembers me of an Old Car's Engine Packed inside a Motorcycle!

even remember "taurus" model during 1990s.It gives a mileage of even 70kmpl -top speed is 70-80kmph.the vibration of this machine means you can forget exercise for a year

Diesel Bullets... Hardcore biking! I still remember the dukkk dukkk sound and slow/steady acceleration. Vast maintenance cost, high pricing (]70,000 INR in early 90's) & unavailability of good service/spares caused deimise of this UNIQUE Indian beast.

I wish Eicher to launch Bullets with latest Diesel tech. (such as CRDi).
