I have gone through all above but my openion is different
If u look at a glance at indiaian motorcycle market then u have to looked into the following perameters
1- Literecy rate (awareness) of the end users (Consumer bying behaviour)
2- Political stability of the country (peace process)
3- Economical stability (fuel and parts prices)
4- Market size (customer base and R&D cost per unit)
5- Customer needs and wants, conservative approach (appriciacian to new shapes and technologies)
unfortunatily all experiments made by our local manufacturer are not successfull for exaple:
First of all Pak Suzuki make a difference in 4stoke and 2 stroke bikes but people did not appriciate new looks and carburator technology (due to conservative approach, and mechanic driven customer)
Secondly Dawood Yamaha launched YB100 cc excellence model(2troke bike) and flopped due to negative propoganda.
again Dawood Yamaha launched Junoon 4stroke 100 cc a beutifull bike like Yamaha gladiator looks but flopped due to conservative approach of customers.
after all above Atlas Honda launched a 125cc Delux model but not so much popular right now and it is also abeutifull model all the way
and last but not the least Ravi Motorcycle (a local manufacturer & assembler) have launched very good model Ravi Piaggio Storm125 with the cplleboration of Piaggio italian brand and let see what happen with them
so i think the driver of this market like motorcycle mechanics and specialists, expetrs are still pushing all the nation to buy old treditional and out dated 70 cc and 125cc models
The need of time is to change the customer approach by doing local R&D according to the needs and wants of local customers not to follow others, like india because i think indian motorcycle market is totally different from china, Thiland, Bangladesh but not so far different from Pakistan
