Imran Khan is a very sensible guy. Saw him in an interview on NDTV news channel. He talks a lot of sense.

Imran said that this time the young generation of Pakistan wants change and is confident of his party winning the elections this time.

There is no doubt that F1 has been a huge success in India and has uplifted India's image in the world.

By the way, its good to see that Indians have a sense of humor and are not afraid to laugh at themselves

it was dirty ...but as is it completed quickly for race or i may say work still in progress at some areas

next year it will be even better....and getting that much crowed was great

I had a surreal feeling all sunday and this event was an unforgettable experience for me. What's left to complete are facilities and streamlining access to the track from New Delhi and we were assured that next year all will be completed as they plan on attracting more travelers from within the country to boost tourism and air travel. Great job overall, though and for US members , SPEED channel is airing the Indian grand Prix now with one more rerun later this week. Anyways, check the schedule.

For those who think this event is unsuccessful, especially the envious ones let me rub it in.

Race Day of the first ever Indian F1 GP: 95,000 Spectators

Last One day cricket match between India-England in Eden Gardens Kolkata (capacity 1,00,000): 20,000 Spectators

By the way the tickets to the Grand Stand of the F1 event was sold at Indian Rs. 35,000!!!!

The above numbers prove without any doubt on whether the Indian F1 event was successful or not.

How far in the city could the noise be heard? I for one had listened few laps far far away and enjoyed the new expression of the locals. How they reacted to this aural bliss.

As. i've seen at the Madras Motorsports Track local villagers interested in cars like the rest of us are, show up and they get to watch from a designated viewpoint. Same happened at this event too as one of my friends has uploaded pics in another website of guys atop tractor trailers outside the track witnessing this event.

Which city?. There's only JP Sports City in which this track is located. As. i've seen at the Madras Motorsports Track local villagers interested in cars like the rest of us are, show up and they get to watch from a designated viewpoint.
