A.o.A brother i want to swap corolla x 2002 manual transmission with automatic transmission. Brother I want to know about the reliability of transmission swap is it fruitful to change my car's transmission and is there any change needed in the engine bay or frame of my car to fit automatic transmission in it. most of the corolla x came with automatic transmission but mine is with manual gears. how is your car doing is it problematic or not.

AISIN U-340E will be a bolt on in your 2002 Corolla X, you may need to change the ECU as well. Please make sure you use fresh transmission fluid and filter after buying from Junk yard

What do you mean by bolt on does i need to make any alteration to my existing car frame or it will be easily fitted without needing any denting work. And yes i know that meter, ecu, transmission, stick and radiator will be change but i want to make sure that is it worth it or not. today i visited many shops of transmission all said that most of the people does it with their XLIs here in Pakistan and it is totally reliable to swap your transmission and also as far as my own view i think that it can be done easily as most of the same model corolla x came with automatic transmission therefore i may not need any welding or denting work to be done in my car.

bolt-on means remove older one & install new one
as in desi term like - grip to grip

if you are in KPK / Lahore or near Quetta, NCP 2002 Corolla are parked & at scrap yards you can get transmission, shifter interior cosole & other stuff from the accidented vehicles at reasonable price.

thanks alot brother for your explanation and one last question is it reliable to swap transmission and do have any experience of driving transmission swapped car. i am little concerned about its reliability as most of pakweelers suggests not to swap transmission but all of them suggests not to do in older honda civic and city cars none of the thread i have so far found on transmission swap of corolla x on pakwheels.

personally i will not change from manual to auto transmission doing a swap. I'd look for 1st opportunity to buy a genuine automatic vehicle to suit my financial resources.

Dear google ur engine than check howany types or gearbox this engine have worldwide than searching shuro kark i did the same yes pickup kam hua hy but 110 easily jarai on cng fuel average on petrol decreased by 2km on cng still same in cylinder 125 km
