Info required about headlight adjustment of Corolla 2009

Dear All,

I need to know whether there is any mechanism present in Corolla 2009 (GLi) to adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the headlights? Specially the high beams.

If there is any such mechanism please tell me how can I do that?

all local cars have adjusters but they are pretty sensitve.force applied wrongly will break the adjuster itself
go to a sound electrician for adjustment

I just need to know the exact location of the adjusters. I searched in the owner's manual but I could not find this information. I'll surely not do it my self but at least I should know where they are located.

back side of the head light. usually the adjusters are difficult to reach!

there will be some screws behind the lights....check for them...they wont be small...they will be long enough that u can reach them and adjust them...they are two...one for horizontal and one for vertical..

Thanks for the elaboration. I know about the screws you are talking about and in some old models I have seen those screws. But in Corolla 2009, I could not locate them. and one more thing since the headlights contain two bulbs, one for low beam and one for high beam, are there separate screws for each one of them or there is only one screw for both the bulb of same headlight.

there should be separate screws.....if there are...its better if u ask toyota dealer wen u go to next check up of ur car...

you cant find adjusters in owners manual.
u can see the screws on the headlights.
