Information required for visiting Northern Areas in Cultus 2013

`Thanks a lot sir ji dir detailed reply. Actually my desire is to travel this complete route by having a day or two stay in Phander to get completely relaxed of this hectic route fatigue. But considering your advice I am seriously planning to revisit my plan of this trip. I have already travelled Babusar Top, Fairymeadows, Hunza, Khunjerab in 2017. It was a good tour so I wanted not to repeat it. By the way I am travelling fron Chitral towards Gilgit so do you advise me to take this chance of trip?
What if go Hyderabad-Islamabad-Besham-Chilas-Phander-Hunza-Khunjerab-Skardu-Fairy Meadows-Astore-Deosai-Babusar Top-Naran Kaghan-Lahore-Hyderabad route?
Is it doable in 15 days on Cultus 2013?

From chitral it's highly not recommended. I had 1800cc and a top of the line engine pulling 130hp and lots of torque, with effecient system..
Don't take your car, the slope from laspur to shandur is really very incline and rough terrain...

If you really want to do this trip, you should hire a Japanese car like Toyota fielder, x corolla, axio..
These cars have outstanding suspension systems and I've seen axio going really fast where i was only going at 10kph..and then i again visited shandur on a gli 1.3 and literally i was flooring it at shandur track, touched 30kph, even crossed jeeps.. Those cars can do this track, providing you comfort in your car.. If its about your car will go or not? I would say i can take it easily but issue is comfort level will be zero, time duration will increase since we won't be able to keep it on 1-2kph for long enough.
So rent a axio, fielder and enjoy your trip.

But don't take your own car.

Yes u can travel till astore and then hire jeep for deosai. The astore road is being renovated so u may find dufficulty in a car.yes they are fisheries deptt people and they provide u receipt fir payment

I am fully convinced with you and have changed my plan. I will have this trip as Hyderabad-Islamabad-Besham-Phander Valley-Khunjerab-Hunza-Skardu-Fairy Meadows-Astore/Deosai-Naran/Kaghan/SaifUlMalook-Peshawar-Lahore-Hyderabad.
Is it really doable within 15-18 days?
Can you guide me for internet in Gilgit/Northern Areas?
How can one get SCOM sim there? Though I am posting this question separately as well in the forum.

How can we park the car in Astore? Is it safe to Park it there?
It will help me a lot to fulfil my fishing dream in such said areas. Any rough idea about how much usually they take for fishing permit?
Surely I will follow your instructions for Skardu route and will be driving from earliest morning!

You can ask the jeep drivber to arrange some place for parking or you can arrange with a hotel.yes it is safe. Fishing permit would not be more than 500 i think.

The internet is not good in GB . . Still no 3 G 4 G anfd the other netnis not good. U can get Scom sim from Scim office or other mobile shops

Sad to know that in these days when we are trying to promote Tourism in Pakistan we don't have basic 3G/4G internet facilities in entire Gilgit Baltistan! Hopefully our current Government will ponder over this issue.

15 din me ho jaega last year ham ny Hyderabad se start kiya tha
Islamabad - muree-naran-astore-rama-deosai-skardu-khaplu-shigar-gilgit-hunza-khunjrab-lahore-hyderabad in 13 days so add extra 5 days for chitral side if you wish and ham ny Astore-Rama-Deosao-Skardu apny gari Gli per kiya tha
