I found Castrol Active 20W - 40/50 oil is the best in local range. It has everything, happy engine light ride, no heating issue, enhanced pickup, soft gear shifting.
Shell AX 3 is also a very good oil and gives a tough time to Castrol Active but I personally observed that bike performances decrease in longer runs like after 20 kms or so which is not in the case of Castrol. I observed this many time. And I never like the performance of shell in my previous Star DL70 engine always felt heavy ride may be it is extra viscous.
Zic 20W - 40 and 10W - 40 are good quality oils. Both oils remain healthy max. till 1000 kms mark. I would rate Zic after Castrol in performance.
Zic oil dealers claimed this oil to be long lasting but actually its not. It maximum lasts till 1000 kms. I have consumed 10 to 15 bottles because of good quality performance and mostly change oil at 800kms mark. At 1000 kms if you drain this oil when the engine is hot it come out like water which is not good. Same issue is with Havoline. It is awesome till 400 - 500 kms mark. But then bike feels like looking for fresh oil.
Zic 20W - 50 is much better oil but it comes in 1 ltr packing only. But again I would rate it second after Castrol active.
Tried SGO once but then left for no reason :). Though oil was seem to be good as it is from Total.
I never tried Kixx.
So if you ask me then Castrol Active for sure.
