Brake master cylinder replaced. I opted for the whole unit rather than a rebuild kit.

Thankfully no fluid was in the brake booster.

I remember when I did bought my car I had to pay 1500 for each year, however it was paid from the sellers end for two unpaid years.

If you keep the same rate the for 7 years expect atleast 10,500/-

no penalties, only the taxes for the year you would have to pay.

Finally got my hands on this. Torque wrench for the low end range 1-25Nm. Bolt stripping should be a thing of the past.

that depends if the brake oil was changed regularly. otherwise even minor pitting in the bore and the cylinder becomes useless

I can call myself lucky, my car was neglected and didnt get new brake oil till 2015. Still all good

Perhaps build quality and the dry area where it was used, are in the favour.

anyhow, i still think this is too recent for brake oil to kill the MC.

It might be fcked by some not so well trained mechanic, trying to flush it

maybe just bad luck. I do not know if it was flushed the first 4-5 years. Though it was 3s maintained, I dont know if they do that as part of brake service.

Hood stay rod grommet changed, no more wobbly rod.

The ac pulley bearing and ac shaft bearing changed from punjac car ac, both bearings were bad. You could hear metallic grinding sound when AC was off. Total cost rs3500

Pulley is now straight, it had a very slight wobble. Clutch plate gap is now within spec, 0.35-0.65mm. Previously it was beyond 0.65mm. No more grinding sound with AC off.

EDIT: Over a year now there was a knock sound when compressor would turn off. Sound is now gone due to change of the shaft bearing.
