I have jzx90 with 2jzge auto. the engine is perfectly fine but for the sake of taste change I wanted to check couple of options for more hp. The more natural fit was for me to go for gtes of 1jz or 2j. But I believe they are rare breeds. Those in good nick got to have more cost. So, I wanted to try something different. I found a brand new engine 3grfse. Transported it back to workshop. Now I think the engine though is brand new. But it can't fit without reducing crankcase height. This would also make .5 liters less oil in place for engine.
Now the issue is I don't know whether it would work because these engines accept little to no modifications.
I basically searched the whole internet for the purposes of whether anyone has done the 3grfse transplant in jzx90 chasis. ( If anyone have it done please guide me ). 1uz has been thought out as well. It needs cutting. So,
