my aftermarket Qabuli Mehran Compressor (and old genuine Denso Kit with simple black ff condensor) perform good on long route in direcdt sunlight with black shades on, i have tested it from Gujranwala to Multan and back. However, it is not so good in city. I have no heat up issue though (on long route my heat gauge needle was just below the red line).
AC works good when I drive at 70+ on 4th gear and 50+ on 3rd,,,, means on High RPM it blows chilled air however on idle or low RPM it donot works very well.
The Factory Fitted Denso with new car in 2010 used to perform good both on long route and in city which lasted for four seasons and then compressor died.
Also, I am facing another issue that sometimes compressor sleeps for 4-5 minutes after 30 minutes working and in that time car cabin heats up again.
Overall, I am satisfied with a Rs. 8500 qabli setup. However, I will install complete new setup from suzuki (they asked 40k for complete new Denso kit which is FF installed in Mehran EFI) as soon as I got some savings.
- or maybe i sale this mehran and get a 15 model (I took it to open car market for sale to asses its price... I got the highest offer of 4.9 lack means I will require 2.5 lack extra to get the 2015 VXR model) but I have spent a little extra money on gadgets in it so wana use it for another year (like good sound system) + which is I did a new experiment, I installed leather poshish on seats that looks better than the stock seats, the interior look is changed... Now I have plans to install leather coating under carpet for better cooling and nice look. However, till next year its market value may come down another 15k-20k. Though its just used for 37k KM in 5 years.
