Installed CNG in my CIty 2010

ur right petrol prices are sky rocketing.....
i myself have been running civic 1.8 on cng for the last 3 years...not even tuned the cng setting from the first day and its running great.
city mileage 100-110 km 80-90 km with A.C
highway mileage 120-135 km 100-110 km with A.C 55 kg cylinder
do post your mileage ...

See... thts why you were supporting petrol, look I had the same views when I bought this car.
I bought it in Jan, 2010 and I run 100 km every day, so if you compare petrol prices from Jan till today and onwards, its already almost 10 Rs/ltre difference. SO you can say that our Govt forced me to put a CNG in my car, ;( but I am satisfied pretty much so that is the best part.

well that is not required, I am not interested because I am pretty familiar with the petrol mileage of my City 2010, I used to get 18 on long and 15 local.

100km/day is really alot to drive in crazy pakistani traffic. So its better to install cng.

I also did the same fugure and finished 90,000 kms in 2.5 years. Good part is that its company car and i got replacement after 90K kms.

The CNG guy offered me both cylinders for same price but I went for 55 kg. Didnt put any spacers yet. Will see if spacers will be required or not.

God!! why are so many ppl against CNG?? :S Even Mercedes are now coming with f.f Cng. Secondly its less toxic for enviroment than petrol.
And Most important of all..its lighter on our pockets!!

i saw many gli's xli's n new city's converted 2 cng.....honda n toyota should introduced company fitted cng cars,becoz petrol prices r goin up n up....

viki, I have also city 2010 and interseted for cng please tell me which kit is better secondally there is need of advancer and /or any other component for city engine performance. I am also in Islamabad , from where you instalted kit.
You are running daily 100 km so how much mileage on single 55L tank or after 100 km how much gas(in rupess) required.
