Please hold your horses if you are planning to buy Haier Inverter AC. I have recently purchased 1.5 Ton Haier Inverter and I must confess that I am utterly disappointed with the unit and perhaps company too. I am waiting to hear from the company regarding the complaint and afterwards I will write a detailed review of the unit. As of now, it seems to me that they are fooling people.

Close the eyes and go for Gree. Haven't heard much about LG inverters being popular in Pakistan.

I purchased Haier and to be honest, didn't like it much. I compared it with Acson, gathered running data and analysed it. Data curve on acson is much smoother. Haier was total mess up when they installed it. After 2 months of rigorous pursuing, and software upgrade twice, its now working a lot better but I believe still falls behind Acson. Haven't checked Gree, but am planning to buy another one in near future. Have heard Gree is perhaps best of them all. Orient, well, again, no much of data and reliability like Gree.

AoA all,
i just want to know some information about installation, i have to install gree ac. Wiring in my house is not very strong to carry large current, so i have to install a separate wire from meter to AC. Now my question is the person who will install AC can install this wire or i have to install it by myself before asking that person to install AC. Anyone have experience regarding this issue.
I will highly appreciate your replies.

The unit that offers up to 75% saving is 3-DC in that it is equipped with BLDC compressor, DC indoor blower motor and DC outdoor fan motor.

The unit that offers up to 60% saving is equipped with BLDC compressor only.

I purchased KENWOOD E-Inverter GLOW series 1213S model for my mother recently; very good design (with latest features) and more importantly, very good performance. It supports both COOL & HEAT functions and its BEE rating is 4 Stars and SEER rating is 4.2.

E-Inverter GLOW series contains 3-DC units as well (1214S and 1814S).

Yesterday needed to fire up the conventional AC in the guest room when i suddenly came to know that it wasn't working with volts only upto 180.
While the Ultron Inverter was running fine in other room.

Rushed out to market and got a heavy duty stabilizer installed and it is working fine now.

yes u need a stablizer for conventional ac on the other hand inverter ac dont require stablizer

Indeed.
Guests were about to arrive and i thought i better check the AC as it is rarely used.

So i started it at 16 setting and also started Ultron Inverter at 16 in other room just for some cooling comparison.
But wapda volts were just around 180 and conventional AC tripped after 5 minutes. It didn't came back ON after several minutes and i knew it's not gonna work.
Went out, found a stabilizer and installed it. Once put on stabilizer, AC was up and running within a minute.

It took me about an hour to do this. And i almost forgot that i left the Ultron running in the other room. All frustrated, when i went back to my room, It was ice cold. Ultron was running like a champ without giving $hit about low voltage.

So yeah, never getting a conventional again.

No they are heat and cool. Prices do not fall but they are available easily as in summer its always short
