Dear i think ghat amps are inductive and has less power factor..... So no actual wastage used as diagnosed in amp meter........ Haier 1 ton uses .49 amp on standby but when i checked it via wapda meter it was 20-30 watt fluctuate

I have 2 other 1 ton inverter
One is gree g10
Other is orient bold
Both doesn't consume any amps at standby
Maybe only 0.01 or less

Using Sprinter 1.5 since almost two years now, Room size is 13.5x15 ft with one side Sun light during 1st half of the day.With thermostat 27, AC starts with 5-7 Amps and right after 30mins Amps drops to 1.75..later is keep jumping in b/1.5-2.25Amp but mostly it remain around 1.75.Btw 27degrees with light/medium fan make us wear thick sheets.I think Sprinter 1.5 should cost u under 70k.

How is the air throw of sprinter 1.5ton? Can you share its spec label? Is it wise to buy 2 years old model? The condenser and evaporator is all copper? How does it compare to candy 1.5 and tcl elite 1.5? Thanks in advance

Throw is very good
Specs label attached
Not sure about condenser and evaporator if made of copper since both has some gold fin(Yellow) coating to avoid corrosion
2 yrs old not at all recommended unless General or Daikin and u r getting at very attractive price.
Can't say anything about TCL and Candy as no personal experience.
Besides, with room size of urs, cooling/performance of 1.5ton AC shouldn't be ur main concern, any 1.5t can blow ur room in 10mins.
Check after sales service, warranty, reliability and price.

I have heard that haier after sales service is good they come within a day. I am getting 77000 for sprinter on daraz and 69000 for candy also on daraz. Both have almost same warranty. What do you or anyone recommend between these two in terms of reliability and after sales and performance?

How is its cooling, and noise of its outdoor plus indoor?

Is it super quiet like TCL?

indoor is reasonable and if outer is just behind window then yes outer could be heard....outer kicks in hard...maybe bcz of R32 compressor

Wow that's high 20 - 30 watts.

I have checked mine TCL standby power and it's just 0.7 watts.

If I am not wrong Candy air conditioners also use rotary compressors. The only difference is R32 gas requires bigger more efficient condenser.

Do check starting current of your AC. It can't be high

Is there any advantage of r32 over r410a or vica versa? Which one would be better to buy?

sprinter doesn't have much shashkas but performance wise it is great! Last year sprinter 30 price was around 63k. I personally never checked the lowest amps but many people here reported 1.6A. Indoor plastic quality is okayish for the price (talking about last year). Outdoor build quality is really good. Cooling is perfect!

Yes Starting is same as R410a. just similar or bit noisy i would say...

compressor is same variable speed and yes it do had double/bigger condenser due to high discharge temps

Are you satisfied with your candy air conditioner? Would you recommend buying at 69k for 1.5 ton? Whats the size of your room and whats the minimum amps it takes? My room size is 9.3 x 13.3 and people are recommending 1.5 ton for better energy savings.

Bro, i am assuming u r from Karachi.
Go to Hashoo Market, Saddar search atleast 4-5 different shops. I assume k apko roundabout 70 main mil jaana chahye.
I bought for 64k in 2019
2020 summers main it went upto 70k but during winters came down again to 64k.
I am not sure about Candy but my experience with Haier was not good, inner leaked after 1 year and had to replace Uband.
Uske bad har saal gas charge kerwana parta tha, lasted overall 4 years with extra maintenence cost of Uband and annual gas charge once or twice/year.
Obviously jab gas kam hote the tou electricity bill bhi kafi ziada aata tha.

1 ton will do so as 1.5ton will do even better if room is sunfacing/ top floor(roof heat issue) or you prefer chilled room...

1.5ton will be good enough and considering price to performance....its good enough as basic inverter unit....amps purely depends on ambient also mind it...

looking at heatwave in khi and outdoor temps...dont expect it to chill room while doing 2amp run....no it wont.....

any unit dropping to lower amps or fixed amps will NOT cool down as much as on its full capacity pls bear in mind..its just abt dropping how quickly to lower temps and how well your room remains cool... depends on your target set temps vs ambient diff....there are so many equations to it....it varies from day to day ...

there are many factors involved beside just unit dropping amps....

I usually set temp to 28 or 29 with fan on. One wall faces sun for 8 hrs. My main question is that will using 1.5 ton would be advantageous in energy saving by quickly attaining the set temp and lowering its amps or 1 ton would be more energy saving considering my room size? Because 1 ton overall amps would not exceed 6 amps while 1.5 ton can reach 10 amps. My room usually remains cool once cooled.

1.5Ton is just better in terms of cooling....for saving i would say on said temps...both will had almost similar ..1.5TON will kick to its full amp(around 8-10amp) if ambient is high to bring it down.....then come down to lower..

while 1Ton will kick to maxx 5-6amp and come down when desired temp is achieved.....

1.5ton will be better looking at summers we are having with bigger indoor outdoor .....i would say in inverter if you can....invest in 1.5ton ....power consumption will be almost same but reliability is good....

why am i looking bcz my ofc LG outdoor unit suddenly develop a leak huge enough not to hold any gas for more than 10min right in between 43 degrres on hottest days of khi.....
