longer length leads to under charging
shorter length leads to over charging.
10-15ft is normal length and no need to adjust gas charge.
Temperature difference of inlet and outlet was a measly 10°C. Should be 20°C plus plusFinally TCL has decided to recall the unit to check the issue. Will keep posted about the end result
it can work good for a long time but I would avoid non inverter ac because they consume too much electricity.
So 2 days ago my parent’s Gree Fairy 12FITH1C started giving EE error, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t (doesn't most of the times)
I have launched complain with Gree and they said guy will come by Wednesday with 500rs visiting charges.
Does anybody know what the EE error means? Unfortunately we have lost the manual and the warranty card so can’t really check whatsup
EE error code is for outdoor main PCB board memory chip issue. You can look up gree error codes here

Any TCL T5 smart users here? How has your experience been? Thank you!
@krafiq
The cooling is great, can't say anything about the energy consumption as I don't have energy meter installed. The app works great too but a member here stated that the electricity usage in app in in accurate.Overall satisfied with the AC.
Thank you. Do you know how it compares to the T3 Pro?
Can't say anything about the T3 pro because I haven't used it
Did you compare the TCL T5 with competitors such as Haier Thunder and Pel Jumbo Prime T3 wifi while making your decision?
@ghufran.tariq
T5 has better eer, 3.6 vs 3.2So anytime T5 if 1.5 ton required (I also have 1 ton t-pro from tcl lineup, T5 is 5dc, t3 pro is 3dc)
Haier had many complaints so didn't go for it.I had used Pel but was unsatisfied with it's performance.Gree didn't have a model with T3.Kenwood 1838 e smart plus is expensiveSamsung and daikin were above 200K
Awesome, thank you!
The Gree guy is saying its a PCB issue and asking for warranty card even before coming (which I have lost) however I do have the dealer invoice. Previously Kenwood guy asked that if i don’t have the warranty card they will charge some amount but not sure with Gree. It is however in warranty according to the invoice..
What should I do? Will Gree offer warranty without warranty card?
I do think you'll need one but check with the tech that comes to fix your AC. Maybe they agree with the invoice but there's little chance
You can check warranty using thishttps://www.greecomfort.com/gree-warranty-registration-search/
TCL 18T5 is awesome. 5 DC. Great chilling air throw which is 1150m3/hr. In comparison to my GREE CITH 1.5 TON, which has 850m3/hr and TCL T3 PRO 2 TON which has 1100 m3/hr.Very nice app as well. Good consumption as well though I only rely on TCL app. Just make sure you do the vacuuming during installation
Thank you for your feedback. Apparently TCL customer care isn't good but it's worth risking since the product is good.
Unfortunately my installer doesn't have vacuum capabilities otherwise he's pretty good. I wouldn't trust anyone else - worth risking?
I won't risk it because of excessive humidity these days. Inverters in Pakistan are already low quality and you're compromising the life of coils because of moisture in the line set. Also, please ask you installer to bring a proper vacuum pump not a fridge compressor.
Sounds good, maybe I'll buy the pump myself and have him use it on this and upcoming ACs. Thank you
