Guys is it it safe to wash the outer with water hose? Like we did with split units. Also any precautions?

Yes you can go ahead with 18S as well. One thing to confirm, in KDC-18S the unit does not trip. Here on forum people said that Haier units trip as well so may be 1803 & 1804 has that functionality.

Try not to wash outer unit of any split AC wether normal or Inverter. Try to use good blower machine to clean dust from outer unit only. But if still want to wash then I think you should be careful about the heat sensor installed in outdoor units of Inverter AC.

Thanks for the info. Normally when AC technicians come they use water hose to wash the outer, that is why I was asking.

In old models window type AC, washing was mandatory because there was water drain which make the outer side condensor also block. But in split type AC washing is not mandatory if you keep it clean yourself.
Its been 2 years now that I have not serviced my kenwood 18S inverter AC. Just using blower machine on weekly basis to keep its condensors clean.
Buy Makita Japan, Blower machine and do it yourself on weekly basis.

Im absolutely not! Enjoying the benefits of Solar! All my chores like washing clothes and ironing is done during the day on solar and at night, load on wapda is only fans, lights and Ac.

One tip: Go for a hybrid inverter (although expensive but in the future when net meters are introduced you can feed electricity back too). One that takes electricity from both grid and solar at the same time. Solar utilization is higher on those.

e.g. I have 1500 Watt panel with 3kva regular inverter (only lights, fans, TV etc). At noon the batteries are fully charged and excess solar power is being wasted. (bad)

Near 4-5 pm solar falls down to ~200 watt at this time either the batteries start draining (bad) or it shifts to wapda (bad because that 200watt gets wasted.)

i have designed my system to be fully on solar during day n and in evening switch wapda with back batteries during load shedding ?

Today experienced cooling of Pel, Kenwood,Orient inverter!
Kenwood was best then pel then orient.

I will get my new Kenwood KDC-1804 today... A bit expensive in Peshawar @ 65k but its ok coz last year i got KDC-18S for @78k for home now this one for office. I will share its pics sooner.

You're getting the KDC-1804 for 65? This is the 75% savings one. Good price if true, it had gone to 75-80 in peak season last couple of months.

So got kenwood old model inverter ac for 59,999! It was for 56k few days ago but was late anyhow it's good. Ac is purchased for someone by my grandmother won't be installed at my place.

Please experts share your experience about Dawlance inspire plus Inverter 1.5 Ton AC. In the last 3 months my ac consumed about 1700 electric units. I used my ac around 12 to 14 hours on daily basis at 26 C temp.
