One tip: Go for a hybrid inverter (although expensive but in the future when net meters are introduced you can feed electricity back too). One that takes electricity from both grid and solar at the same time. Solar utilization is higher on those.
e.g. I have 1500 Watt panel with 3kva regular inverter (only lights, fans, TV etc). At noon the batteries are fully charged and excess solar power is being wasted. (bad)
Near 4-5 pm solar falls down to ~200 watt at this time either the batteries start draining (bad) or it shifts to wapda (bad because that 200watt gets wasted.)
