I want to buy GREE inverter AC out of following these two:

1. GS 18LITH11M - Rs 75000 (one dealer is giving it in 70000 but i doubt it)
2. GS 18CITH11 - Rs 72000

I've used the Haier and Kenwood inverters. Both have been serving me well. I do think the Kenwood blower is better/more powerful. I don't know if that means it consumes more electricity. Kenwood has been only a year though and Haier two.

I've used Haier (non-inverter) for almost 2 years. The cooling is acceptable but, its not that good. Now replacing it this summer with either Sharp or Gree. Other brands like Daikin, are way expensive.

As per one market shop, Split AC brands are placed in 3 categories roughly by their performance and overall value for money:

Category-A (Top of the line; the best parts and performance)

-Daikin
-General
-Mitsubishi
-Panasonic
............etc

Category-B (Good; Better parts and performance)

-Gree
-Sharp
-Acson
-Orient
..............etc

Category-C(Fair; for low-budget; relatively low quality parts and fair performance)

-Haier
-Dawlance
-Kenwood
.............etc

It's mostly the misleading marketing like ....."pooray BTU"...etc, etc.... which customers often gets attracted to and forget that in overall usage life of split AC, a good brand will rather be more savings.

I bought 1.5 Ton Orient DC Inverter to replace my regular 1.5 LG AC. Tested both with amp meter.

1.5 Ton Orient DC Inverter
Starting Watts: 0 (rises gradually)
Running Watts: 850 (thermostat set at 17)

1.5 Ton Regular LG AC
Starting Watts: 2,400
Running Watts: 1600 (thermostat set at 17)

About 45% savings in electricity. I am considering installing solar system of 3,000 watts and run this AC on it.

Cooling is also top notch. I have this AC on first floor, room temperature can go up to 38 Celsius without AC. I used to run LG on 20 thermostat, but now I keep it at 26 and still it sometimes gets too cool so I have to increase thermostat to 27. But I think it may also be because I changed the place of outdoor unit from roof (direct sunlight all day) to complete shade (no direct sunlight).

I just got Orient Ultron DC Inverter e-comfort AC today.
Advertising on the box and by daraz.pk shows wifi sign along with five other things such as r410a 50feet long airthrow gold fin heat and cool etc etc.
But there was nothing included in box that told of its wifi ID and key.

Isnt there supposed to be wifi thing included with this model? I mean it says so on the box. And there is e-comfort written on the indoor unit itself also.
