i own kenwood t3 model KES1820S. same sticker. we have already agreed on kenwood being pakistani bhai jaan.

User manual ki bhi pic lagana na bhoolna english check karain. Im sure english bhi under license from Kenwood UK hai.

App sticker laga k chalao ya utaar k. AC pakistani chinese hai. Jo marzi kaho.

Kenwood UK website does not even have pakistan on its list hahaha. funny how kenwood pakistan earns millions of pounds UNDER LICENSE from kenwood UK but fails to have kenwood uk take any liability for its acs division.

License is only rented name via royalty with NO LIABILITY on kenwood uk's part.

Check the spelling of automatically in point number 5.
Check grammar of english at point 4. "press this button can be used..."

Agreed. Brother I was also surprised by reading the manual in poorly written english. But what i can't understand is that how come they are using the name of kenwood or under license of kenwood uk because companies are very careful about their brand name. Kenwood uk must have sued RNI if they don't have any connection with them. And i agree that it is made in pakistan and i never said that it's made in uk but it is kenwood licensed under kenwood uk.

they rent these names by paying certain percentage from profits to kenwood uk. This is because either RNI could use a new name or use existing kenwood name to market their acs.

Kenwood UK has no role in producing or designing these acs. They have just allowed RNI to write under license from Kenwood uk.

We can argue all we want, if something happens and things were to go to court, im sure kenwood UK has all the documentation contracts and legal stuff to prove they have nothing to do with these acs made for pakistan by RNI. Companies do give out their name for royalty, its a known phenomenon.

Well whatever the case. People are buying it because the name says kenwood. By the way i am not very happy with its power consumption. It's a one ton AC and consumes 3.5 amps on attaining the desired temperature. Shouldn't it be below 2 at least?

you should check at night and leave it on at desired temperature. What is your desired temperature? it will take high amps on lower temp and less amps on 28 or 29. what are you setting it at?

What is your lowest amp recorded at night and afternoon with full sun. Where is your outdoor placed (roof or ground).

Bhai Kenwood UK is not offering you anything in terms of ACs except its rented name by their pakistani partner for KITCHEN appliances.

Whatever the deal is between RNI and Kenwood. Customers are buying Kenwood brand name product, not RNI. So Kenwood is ultimately responsible for the quality of products offered in Pakistan. If they're only renting name, then still they are responsible for misleading public into believing that they're buying genuine Kenwood products.

i emailed kenwood UK, they said they do not operate in Pakistan.

Kenwood UK does not have the need to initiate legal action when they've agreed for royalties. Thats why they do not have any official presence in Pakistan.

And exactly RNI was successful into using kenwood name and paying them royalties so people think they are buying Kenwood. Its Pakistan sab chalta hai yahan.
