I bought a GREE 1.5 ton Inverter AC around 3 weeks ago for 85k, the cooling of AC is more then too good, not sure how much amp it is consuming once it reaches the Set temp but at the start up it takes 9 Amp, i tested it when it was being installed.

We recently got gree inverter ac and in area where we live there's load shedding about 8-10 hours regulary.
Gree performamce is amazing i believe it cool much faster and yes it's saving about 40% energy we are still due to have bill.

Couple advantage you'll get with inverter is in future if you plan to move yourself in solar system you'll be able to use inverter ac easily.

And inverter refigerent is different from other split that's why it does cooling faster

Thats doesnt make a lot of sense I agree but im reflecting our test results. Which Ac took lesser time to cool the room and came down to 2-3Amps. According to our results, Panasonic worked better even in rooms which were bigger than the specified area.

But if I had to rank them in light of economy and performance then my ranking would be as followed:
1) Gree
2) Acson
3) Panasonic
4) Orient
5) Kenwood

Thirdly, it is crucial that the installation is done by a professional using vacuum pump. Purging is not an option as moisture is killer for air conditioner life and efficiency.

I agree with the third point but load shedding these days have reduced so inverter Ac reaps good results.
And there has been a lot of speculation about the made of these Acs but I believe it doesn't matter as long as your vendor is giving you good service and you unit is delivery desired results.
