Reached at 26.5 while set temp is 26.
As u can see its consuming less then 2 amps so straight 7amp saving if comparing with fixed speed ac.

If you want to stick to 1.5 ton (18,000 BTU), then Gree inverter 1.5 could be one choice.

Its quite simple to connect amp meter to a wire.amp meter has 4 points,2 big ones and 2 small ones.small ones are to give power to display to stay on.big poles read load on hot wire so cut hot wire and connect one side to one pole of meter and other side wire to other side pole.
Cost of amp meter is 200.

After looking at ur ac i went to market today to get haier 1.5 ton ac . At one shop a guy showed me changhong ruba and claimed it to be better in consumption than haier now im confused

Bro if there is no direct sun light to roof or roof is insulated then go for 1 ton ac as they can produce upto 14000 btu to quickly cool the room.

Get Gree or Orient 1.5 Ton. Both are incredibly efficient.

if not too interested in inverter, i would suggest Panasonic ECO NAVI. You will be saving around 30 K as well.

if u have loadshedding like 10 hours daily or every 2 hour u have 2 hour loadshedding inverter is useless you need continuously electricity for inverter a.c to run it optimal performance

i have both Acson 1.5 inverter (2 month old) and Orient 1.5 (1 month old) we have overall 8 to 10 hour loadshedding .... inverter and normal a.c both have same bill ..

I have 1.5 ton Orient (inverter). I live alone and also have Solar installed on my roof. But I usually run my Ac only during the night since I am not home during the day.
My monthly bill accounts to around Rs. 900-1000 rupees. This is with 8 hours of non-stop Ac running. Now according to my test results, my ac consumes around 7-8 amps in the first 30 mins and then come down to consuming only 3 amps, which is like running 6 fans.

I wish to add, that all the air conditioners available in Pakistan are manufactured in China even those who claim to be of Malaysia or Thai origin.

Secondly, Inverter AC is cost effective when used continuously over longer period of time. Unfortunately load shedding is detrimental to the benefits of inverter AC.

Thirdly, it is crucial that the installation is done by a professional using vacuum pump. Purging is not an option as moisture is killer for air conditioner life and efficiency.

From where will I get this professional who will do vaccum pump stuff? Will the shopkeeper provide me? I am new to all this, pls answer.

Im absolutely not! Enjoying the benefits of Solar! All my chores like washing clothes and ironing is done during the day on solar and at night, load on wapda is only fans, lights and Ac.
