Thats Why u Havnt Seen Much Of Better Performance As They Are Build To Perform...With This Installation A/C Do Work But Will Never PEAK Out Their Results...After Particular Temp...They Failed To Drop Temp Depending On Area Size ...

Any cheap workaround for this, companies should start proper installing and start awareness program for the consumers.

My room size is 12x14 & east open house with sunlight on roof, will 1ton would be enough to Chill my room? Need proper guidance about it, thanks in advance.

The same process like we do in our cars creating vaccum in the lines and then fill it with gas, so the gas didn't mix with moisture and other elements which are in air, which decreases its efficiency.

May be i am wrong let some senior member shed light on this.

My suggestion is to go with 1.5 ton (18,000 BTU) for good cooling. As per the forum here, Gree is the brand of choice with inverter properties.

Both are equally good. Prices are same too, so you need not worry about that. I believe you should go for 1.5 ton if you room is exposed to sunlight. 1.5 ton will cool down the room faster and will consume lesser amps.

Inverter ACs are not good for Karachi because they cost more then twice the amount of normal ACs and ACs there rust within 2-4 years , the savings in bill would still not cover the additional cost

i have a kentax unit installed at home since 2010. its used very less.. but till now has not even needed gas recharging..
house is located in north of karachi

If it needs gas recharging means A/C is gone!
Near sea, ACs get destroyed very quickly.
Its been 23 years with general and 12 with LG and Acson, never required gas or created any problem in Islamabad
