I'm deciding between Haier and Dawlance. Are they both good reliability wise? I like simple design of Haier more than Dawlance, but Dawlance is offering better warranty.
Haier i would recommend. I have haier installed in other room since 2014. Still cools great
Does it have sleep mode and Timer-off functions like Gree?
Which place in Lahore has entire collection of Haier ACs? I went to abid market but each shop had 2-3 models max.

They just assemble them here. They got the contract to do so. I am pretty sure parts are imported fromPanasonic China to keep the manufacturing cost low...
People who say their AC consumes 1.5A at night believe me you are not enjoying cooling of AC and just running it as Air cooler with little to no cooling at all and getting sweaty.
I have experienced it when AC amperes falls below 2.0 A room starts getting hot and I have to lower temp or increase fan speed of AC to make compressor run faster to cool down room.

Kuch Days say Mein aik problem observe kar Raha hon woh yeh k jab Mein AC raat ko on karta Hon aur target temp 26 set karta hon lekin AC ka outer unit 28 ya 29 per completely trip kar jata h mujhy is liye pata chal raha hota h k mere Ac ka ampere brii per 3 amp show horahe hote hein aur jab AC ka outer 28 ya 29 per trip karta hai tu ampere wapis 0.2 amp (4 to 8 watts) hojate hein aur inner unit ki air Mein aik dam cooling b khatam hojati h aur phir 5 to 10 mins k bad Ampere again increase hone start hote hein aur 0.2 (4 to 8 watts) say 6.5 amp tak chala jatay Hein aur kuch dair bad wapis 3 amp tak ah jatay hein, maximum time Ac thek chal raha hota h lekin trip Hona samaj nhe ahraha h.Yeh koi problem wali baat tu nahe h kyun k Mein yeh problem one week Mein 4 say 5 dafa observe kar chuka Hon. Kya split mein koi technical fault ah chuka h? kafi seniors members Hain is forum per kindly help kardain? kyun k abi Ac ki warranty h.
My TCL also trips alot especially in the night time when I set its temp to 29, while during the peak evening hours, at same 29, it dont trip.
Do you really get any cooling at 29C set temp?
Yes behtareen comfortable cooling, balkay chadar leni parti hai.
Its 2 in the noon right now & my AC is running at 29, mazaydar mahool, dont have any temp sensor, otherwise would show you guys the room & vent temp.
Thats amazing. I have Haier inverters in my home. And keep set temp at 25C minimum in these days otherwise cooling is not enough.
ahan, I have very comfortable cooling at 29. My room is at ground floor with no sun exposure from any side, may be due to this, my AC works good even at 29.
It is due to isolation of room from any heat source.

No its not normal. It compressor should trip only after achieving 26 Set temperature when room temperature has already gone below 25.
If its happening a lot then may be complain Kenwood about it.
