I'm currently debating between TCL and Orient.

TCL has appealing options, Orient as well, but TCL’s aftersales is a killjoy. Any suggestions? Thanks.

hows your dawlance experience so far..

last season people were literally cursing them even after their 5 yr PCB warranty for their weak evaporators leaking continuously

only good thing abt TCL is that they are known brand worldwide...and their inverter could be forced to run at certain fixed amps despite sensors feedback which varies up down in most inverters..

prices are also better than others......kenwood/orient flagship models are good but their after sales sucks too....expensive also due to wifi thingy which is certainly a thing but useless almost

Go for TCL Miracle 1.5

Its huge indoor unit (46.5 inches long) has so much powerful air throw it will drop room temperature instantly. Plus outdoor unit is ultra silent. I have never seen this much silent outdoor unit in any other brand / model.

It can lower its amps to 1.5A. Personally tested it.

Other than that you can forcefully limit its current. Three options are available: 6A, 5A, 3A.

TCL has raised its inverter AC prices. They are now selling 1 ton for 62,500. 1.5 ton for 82000.

Tcl miracle 1.5 ton is priced at 89000.

If you want discount then wait for sale. They greatly lower their air conditioner prices on every mega daraz sale.

Orient's aftersale service is even worst. Believe me the crook technician sent by Orient would demand chai pani (rishwat) to fix your AC on urgent basis. So keep your expectations low and pray that your product does not go bad. Otherwise claiming warranty in this country is a mess.

last time i checked abt 3-4 months back it was damn 51-52k for 1 ton .. was almost end of season....

as i was all working and checking on these.....i found that many of these are still blue fins ...few are gold fins( both evap/con)

the place where i need unit is small and 1 ton is overkill even...only dawlance offer 0.75ton unit (sprinter10) and it will fit perfrct for place but i may get 1 ton anyways...

so far now....i am still inclined toward TCL after checking almost every brand.... dawlance few models are nicer with 12 yr compressor and 5 yr PCB but their condensor/evap raise issues as they leak often

Only Orient Ultron inspires but for 71k.....i wont bother....wifi and shashka is of no use anyways...

orient is out of list for me so as kenwood....despite having extreme demand for kenwood.....its still listed best...

their flagship model stands aaround higher or close to ultron ... had one unit purchased back in 2017 and it develop issue twice....(once covered under warrenty and now it develop leak ).. not going that way....their compressors are noisy as ****** too

14 April ramadan inshaALLAH..... installation would be hectic as dates are closed as i would do all the needful before powering it on ...proper vacuuming and all... no lousy thookam thaaki 1 ghante mein lagake niklao ...

i am hopeful to get a good deal from market insha'ALLAH..

TCL Miracle seems to be the highly appreciated contestant here.

It’s just that in this highly sophisticated world, there are SO many bands out there, it quickly gets confusing when it comes to choosing the right brand to fulfill your needs.

I guess, I won’t change my decision now and go for TCL MIRACLE 1.5.

Assalam o Alikum.

I am looking to buy 2 ton standing unit. Any body has personal experience. Which brand is robust. Market is full of gree , Haier etc. Isuue is apperantly manufacturers filled r22 and r410 gas in same body. Where as what i have heard r22 runs on 6 or 7 psi where as r410 need 60 or 70 psi. If manufacturers are using same pipe for both than certainly after a year or so ac having r410 will get weak and eventually gas leak due to high psi. Any brand which is manufacturing as per r410 specs. Same is happening with split wall units.

Note. I am not a pro or have any technical back groud. All this info is gather by visiting market and may have a chance of miss or complete wrong info. So plz correct ( where needed) instead of bashing.

r22 is internationally banned and being phased out. soon it will not be available in pakistan as well.

gas never leaks due to high psi.

if you use high pressure in a pipe not designed for it, it will leak immediately. it will not weaken gradually over time.

gas leaks due to pipe corrosion, joint corrosion. moisture trapped in system, no nitrogen purging or vaccuming

R22 has suction pressure 65 psi, discharge pressure 260 psi.

While R410A has suction pressure 120 psi and discharge pressure 460 psi.

Copper pipes can bear such pressures. Only problem is if installer does not use correct torque to tighten the joints, the gas may leak under pressure.
