Bro to be honest Jackson Market Karachi.Tons of AC like this type and those which are kept in windows they were also available at Rs 7500.To me this AC was looking good so i bought it.

I'm planning to install both units tomorrow. Just talked to their so called well trained official installer, that goof doesn't even know the basics. These companies are just making money, higher rates for untrained illiterate staff. Now i'll get services of another technician for proper installation.

BTW I bought 2 dawlance 1 ton inverter ACs few days before for 42k each. I'll install them in a week hopefully.

Okk fine. Do check amperes when u use the Ac. Check ye karna ha jab compressor on hota ha tab 7 8 ampere par chalta ha ya 1 ampere sy gradually increase ho ky 7 8 ampere tak jata ha phr cooling ky baad reduce hoty hain ampere

Done with installation of both units on Saturday. Dawlance official installer didn't show up so i got services of private technician. following steps have been followed
Applied liquor spary on tubes of both outer and inner units for rust prevention.
Pulled the vacuum on line sets for 30 minutes using vacuum pump.
observed the vacuum level for 10 minutes
Released about 100 PSI pressure & joint were tested for leaks with soap water.

I've tested one unit for about 30 minutes. Door and windows were open and tempreature was set on 17C. Amperes started from 0 and gradually increased to 2.7. then came back to 2.2 after five minutes and remained constant on 2.2 for rest of 25 minutes. Outdoor temperature was 29C. I think it should consume max amperes (4.6) until the set temperature achieved but don't know why it stayed on 2.2. Maybe it was running on econo mode(I'm not sure) or adjusted itself according to outdoor temperature. I've not tested the 2nd unit yet. Technician will perform another leak test on running AC as it was not done due to electricity failure. I'll be able review it by end of April after shifting to that house.

bro inverter unit sense temperatures of indoor and outdoor and accordingly draws power as now a days it is not so warm so it draws less amperes

its current or power interlock is with indoor and outdoor temperatures if temperatures are low current is low if temperatures are high current is high

Today leak test has been done on both units while test run. Checked current again for both, it started from 0 and then gradually increased until it reaches 2.2A and then it remains constant. Same behavior is observed in both units.

I bought 2 Kenwood latest DC inverters KDC 1804S for 63k inclusive of installation and removal of existing units. Their other unit KDC-18S was available for 58 but I opted for this one as it is the newest model and claims up to 75% savings (more of a marketing gimmick in my opinion). Tested 1 AC the other night, it operated for 9 hours (9.30 pm till 6.30 am) and consumed ~3 units on the meter (including other appliances) from 9.30 pm till 8.00 am. Room temp was ~30 degrees when I switched it on and set the AC temperature to 24 degrees. In two hours when I checked, room temperature had fallen from 30 to 24 degrees. Did not run the AC last night and took meter readings again, without it the meter consumed approx 1.4 units, so for 9 hour operation the AC consumed between 1.5-1.75 units. The temperature these days are moderate so it'll be interesting to see what it does when it gets really hot in Khi. Btw the reason for such low unit consumption is that I have 2 meters in the house (3 phase and single phase) therefore our load is divided.

What is liquor spray?available by which name?can it be used to prevent spreading & removal of rust from car, Bike body?
