I set it at 28 deg in morning and the amps come down to 1.5

What should be the outlet air temperature of indoor? I checked with a digital thermometer while ac was set to 16deg and thermometer showed 17deg air temperature. Shouldn't it be lower like less than 10? Especially considering that weather is barely 30 deg outside today

Can anyone please recommend a good installer who vacuums lines before releasing gas?

Got it on Wednesday, installed yesterday.

Price: 77,000

So far I am impressed with the build quality and performance. Both the inner and outer units are bigger than my Gree CITH. It comes with the installation kit unlike LG. Installation kit comes with some extra things I didn't get with Gree like some sort of clay to fill the holes after installation, sticky foam sheets to put at the back of the indoor unit, plastic grips to secure the installation pipes and the drain pipe, two 7 ft drain pipes with foam insulation. see pics below

Turned it on and tested around 3 pm yesterday. It never crossed 6.5 amps while temp was set at 16 C in turbo mode. Room is on top floor getting sun from one wall and roof all day. Room size is 17x14 ft. At night turned it on around 11pm and set it to 26C. It went to 4.5 amps, cooled the room down in 10 mins and amps came down to 2.1, then to 0, then went back up to 3.5 for a minute or two then back to 2. I set it to 28 C before going to sleep with fan on, it got pretty cold around 4 am and I turned it off. During the night I noticed it at 2 amps once but mostly at 0, probably because the weather outside was good. But even during the day when it was hot, it cooled the room down in about 15 mins and then hovered at 2-3 amps.

Please PM me his contact info. Does he also run nitrogen theough pipes? How long does he vacuum for? Does he have a guage to check if the vacum goes below 500 microns?

Where did you buy this unit from? Shop name? Price is really good.

One problem i noticed is that outdoor should be placed above or equal to indoor height. You place outdoor on floor so ac is working against gravity to pump refrigerant above towards indoor. Shouldve gotten a bracket and installed outdoor above.

ma sha Allah u got it at great price and it looks like a very good ac. Allah naseeb kare. it was installed by samsung rep or pvt installer? how much they charged for delivery and installation. What abt warranty? u got it from samsung directly or some dealer?

A micron gauge is for 30,000 $300 and not a single shop sells it in pakistan.

No need for nitrogen in pipes. Just make sure vacuum Pump is of 3cfm or above and preferably 2 stage. Vacuum line set for 30 mins then close gauge and observe if it stands. Then open valves to release gas.

What should be the temperature of air coming out of indoor?

It depends on ambient temp. Grill temp will be lower upto 6 to 7 degrees when room temp comes down.

So when you set it at 24 and room temp comes down to 25 or 24 you will see grill temp reach 7 to 8 degrees.

When room temp is 29 and you turn ac on the grill temp will be high. As the ac brings down temp grill temp also comes down.

Dont worry too much bhai apka ac bilkul theek hai.

Can you look at your outdoor and see the weight of refrigerant? It will say 1.4kg or 1.6kg

Its inverter, no fixed temperature.

It will calculate the cooling requirement (room temperature and your desired set point), adjust compressor speed accordingly and the airflow temperature depends on that.

It will not unnecessarily throw more cold air than needed. While maintaining room temperature, vent temperature will not be very cold, it will be cold enough to maintain the room temperature.

Keep ceiling fan off, and ac fan should be on auto.

I know it will vary according to room tenp but if i have set the ac temp to 16 then it should be throwing as cold air as possible correct? I will try that again but it was not throwing like 10 deg air when ac is set to 16

Outdoor is installed on wall and i dont have ladder now to access it. I will see in user manual and let you know

When the room temperature reaches as close to 16 thats when lowest grill temp be recorded.

When room temp is 27 or 26 and ac is set at 16 dont expect grill air temp to be below 10. Set it to 16 and wait for 30 mins then check grill temp. Make sure u take the thermometer as far as possible into the grill. Do NOT break your blower by poking it all the way inside.
