Is 20w50 okay for honda reborn 1800 cc?

1. Current mileage kms?
2. 1st Owner? If bought used car how many kms since you have it?
3. Since how long using 20/50 oil kms?
4. How much top up needed every 500 / 1000 kms?

6. Car gives blue smoke during cold / hot start?
7. Getting Blow by from Oil level dipstick?

I just want to know if it is safe to complete atleast 2k km on this oil or shall i change it? If it is causing damage i will get it changed tommrow i better waste 3000Rs instead of my car

Ok thats nice it means you have just purchased it and its your routine to replenish engine oil after every 3000kms. Now carefully follow this:

1. immediately at earliest put oil 10W-40.
2. Monitor it by checking the dipstick after 1st 500kms and then every 1000kms till oil change at 3000/3500kms. (If you won't need any considerable top up oil i.e. greater than 500ml then proceed to step 3.)
3. Now put 10W-30 monitor the same for 3500kms, if the conditions remain satisfactory you can continue with 10/30 eyes closed as your car will be on OEM spec lube oil.

Note:
1. Every engine in the Auto world consumes oil (some times its negligible not detected on the dipstick) even some manufacturers mentions in manuals that generally a 4L oil capacity engine can consume upto 1/2 liter of oil in 5000kms change interval depending on the driving conditions.
The car is at 190K kms and we don't know the previous history so switching to 5W-30 is tricky. Even 10W-30 withstand the cold whether -18C so continue with it.

For this engine R18A 5W-30 if used since 0 meter is the best even above this mileage but not applicable in your case.

Better change oil as soon as possible. Use either guard oil filter or honda genuine. These engines if properly taken care of go easily till 500,000kms. Have seen a 2009 civic driven 445000kms still on original engine, using Honda Genuine 10W30 engine oil with genuine oil and air filter.

Dear Khurram bhai,
My Civic reborn 2010 is 100K driven.
Just bought and changed Oil 10 W 40 Kixx
Oil reduced to 3L from 4 L
Blueish Smoke starts coming at start ups
When accelerate blue smoke also comes.
Suggest me some remedy for it.

I am afraid you need an engine Overhauling.
If the car bought is 2nd hand than i am sure the mileage is not correct.
Get a head assembly from Bilal Gunj ( engine only) which will cost you less as compared to overhauling expense.

Would u recommend an engine flush from liquid molly or the likes.... prior he shifts to 10w40 and then comes down further ?

Any suggestion for running vehicle for 1 to 2 months before Engine change. Should I keep using 10W 40 with makeups.

In a weak engine It will harm the engine rather than giving benefits.... Old engines have some abnormal clearances covered up with deposits. flushing them will accelerate the wear rate.

Keep a litre bottle of same lube oil in trunk. check dip stick in the morning after every 500kms and top up the required amount. drive the car smoothly i.e. no hard throttling.

keep using 10W-40.... Do not switch to more thick oil as it will accelerate the wear faster

This sounds like worn valve stem seals - at least they are much easier to replace than worn piston rings.

If you don't want to fix them, them just go with what Khuram bhai has advised.

Yes you are right Rahat Bhai!

If the blue smoke comes during cold start up and it becomes clear after warm up and remains clear while accelerating than yes valve stem seals will be needed to be replaced which is not an expensive work. In that case it won't reduce oil that much.

But if blue smoke remains there after warm up and during acceleration than piston rings and cylinder sleeve are worn out.

Blue smoke is not visible during warmed running vehicle, just when hard throttling.
