how can i repair the self canceling mechanism of the indicator. When i turn the right indicator with the indicator stalk, it doesnt comes back or work properly like it doesnt self cancel. i have to do it manually. on the other hand, left side work like charm.

Aslam alikum to all. Finally after two years of saving, i bought a baleno. its 99 model jdm, sort of i think, white color single owner and ran on petrol. Allhumdillah the wait and perseverance worked for me the car is in perfect condition. yet being a 15 year old car have some body issues. i will upload the pics as soon as i get my hands on it but i will be asking geeky questions as this is my first ever car and i am not a cheeta what we called in the efi car and electrical stuff. Thanks to all for replying but still i will be needing loads of help. i purchased it for 410k. following is its classification
1. ran on high octane and super premium fuel, as owned and cared by a nice gentle family.
2. white in color
3. ran 170k kilometers.
4. AC works
5. interior need intense cleaning, human slime over the door panels etc
6. no dashboard clock
7. not being showered but need work as rust can be seen at he foot barri and inside the fender. also minor rust around the wind screen border.

All i need from you guys is what to check more. as i already made the purchase but still what things are to be checked.

Congrats for the purchase but you bought it very expensive. 99-00 Baleno with CNG and Alloy rims can be bought around 350k

JAZAKALLAH for that bro. i know i did. but the price is of the condition of over all car. original painted body, no engine work done ever service history from 2000 till 2016 jan, ran on petrol. i searched for baleno all over karachi also in sunday market but wasnt able to find such thing. the one's i find attractive were in bad shape engine wise or body wise. but being said that.. baleno 2000 in 350 is a hard find.

do you find a fully loaded, comfortable, tension free, cheap parts availability, car under 6 lacs other than Liana/baleno? bhai please do not use such words as most of people (like myself) own these cars and cannot afford going for million+ hotshots of Honda and Toyota!

bro you are not correct on this. suzuki is a household name in Pakistan and there cars are serving well since decades. you are mistaken if you are getting a crap when buying a suzuki. everything has its own worth and market. and its a fact that most of car owners find a car under this budget of 6-7lacs and these two cars are ideal sedans with cheap maintenance, part availability and locally produced. value for money with least investment. so lets not say them a crap
