Is CG125 Clutch Noise Normal? Help

This problem is very common. I still have that CG125 model 16 and now i have been used to this issue.

The only solution is to shift gears late. Dont change gears early like u do with CD 70.

I am from Lahore and I have recently bought a 2018 model CG 125 and facing the same issue. I got it checked by a mechanic and he told my that its clutch plate slips and generates this sound. This issue is so frustrating that I have kind of started regretting my decision of buying Honda 125. Please guide, how may I get this fixed here in Lahore because it totally removes the driving pleasure.

Further if this issue will stay unfixed, will it pose any further issue or damage. It sounds like this issue is pretty common. Thanks in advance for your response.

I also got the same issue on my CG 125 2018 and i know its so frustrating to ride but thankfully it got fixed with only 3 things.
Buy genuine Garari, Clutch packing and Tube thats it and your problem will be solved.

I have recently bought honda 125 2021 model but one before those so called 90 changes that honda claims have done to new model in november. This noise comes in 4th gear but not while accelerating but rather when i leave the throttle i can hear this sound coming from the engine from the magnet side tappa. Its not there in any other gear but only in 4th. Since my last 125 was in 2005 and back then gear box issues weren't that common although after 2000 honda bikes have been plagued with faults specially 125 but i want to know if this sound is common in 125.
Because in the new model where honda is claiming all those changes, they specifically mention the noise that people complained about will be removed so i was wondering if this is present in all bikes or just mine? For reference its drive only 87kms.

Hey there, I recently fixed an issue with my 2017 Honda 125. When the engine got hot and I shifted from 1st to 2nd or from 2nd to 3rd, there was a sound when I started releasing the clutch. When the clutch was fully released, the bike performed well, but before that, it took a lot of power, making it difficult in traffic and make noise like chain slipping. I encountered this issue with almost every 125 model I’ve dealt with. I consulted an experienced mechanic, and he mentioned that the problem could be due to the clutch plates and pressure plates. When I took the bike in for repairs, the mechanic discovered additional issues inside the engine, including problems with the piston rings because the bike was burning oil. There were also some issues with the bearings and some wear on the clutch plates. Additionally, the mechanic identified problems with the connecting rods.

I’ve had all these issues addressed, and the total cost came to around 12,500. Now bike is running good.
