Well, the water jacket was rusted to hell, the radiator and all the cooling channels were filled with rust. It seems that the engine head was faced more than it was required, and after the overhaul was completed, the oem paperthin multi-layer steel headgasket was used, but when the water jacket blew up, the headgasket failed at that moment.

Actually I am facing oil consumption and other issues in my car engine like bad fuel economy , rod knocking, coolant reduction etc so I am in process of deciding whether to overhaul or swap

Buy all parts from nasir autos in karachi plaza. He deals in oem honda parts. Never ever rely on mechanics for buying the parts. They'll cheap out on essentials for their money.
