Well this is debate that has no end, some will say lm is good some will say havoline is good, some will debate on sump capacity so brothers i would say don't try teaching me that im wrong or right because u know amount of projects i have done and you also know about the experience i have. So when i speak something i never speak those things which are just mere assumptions. I have always tested things, did plenty of research & my manufacturers both state 15k km drain interval.
But even than i have kept a safe distance of 10-13k km. So haseeb bhai this debate has no end, i have basically tested on like 50+ vehicles of different brand but i suggest end users 8-10k and these oils are good. Liquimoly, amsoil, Mobil.

Yes I agree that you got much more exposure and physical experience with engines. This debate has no end, but LM only got 5w40 api SM synthoil hightech in Pakistan.
All others are synthetic technology.

Yeah exactly i have basically tested the maximum, minimum, cold, hot and overload conditions of 5w30 lm molygen /AAtec/Mobil 5w30 so I've compared the results and reached to the conclusion i mentioned above...and yes haseeb bhai that's why now i only suggest those who direct ask me about oil suggestions. That oil isn't a fullysynthetic. Indus is claiming shit. No specification sheet is available either at indus or dealership. No online data available as well.

Bus bhai..till warranty yehi museebat hai for customer. They will not stamp.warranty card otherwise. Now they are offering 3 yrs/100k kms warranty btw

Then please use toyota tin pack oil. 5w30 or 10w30 made in Japan oil.
They don't claim warranty for ordinary customers either unless you got some good reference then they will claim warranty of an expensive part. It is just a mental satisfaction. Stealerships loot you in the name of warranty and does 500rs job in 2000rs. Photo of my old ac compressor is attached here. This was gone bad at 15k kms, toyota ravi didn't entertain at all. Garden said gas is low and filled gas. Issue came in and they added r134a oil just a little. After that they kept lying and when warranty ended they said its a bad compressor. It gave up few days back at 87k kms, and now I have fitted same compressor which is almost brand new from a facelift brand new nose cut premio. Even the meter of that car showed 8k kms odo reading.

Yeah i totally agree. Claims are not easy to made. I perhaps told you, we even tried to bring tin pack for friends car and they refused..i m unable to find a way so far

Then you can go to toyota airport, and purchase mobil 1 5w50. They will stamp warranty book for you. Change at every 8k kms.

Ive been doing this with my own oil and parts and getting warranty book stamped. To be honest u dont have to get th3 book stamped for claiming the warranty. Dealerships play with customers and u have to know how to play with them.

Well...oil only impacts the engine warranty..other things don't need any stamp. I had my android unit replaced with 2gb version under warranty... they didn't even ask me for warranty book. Main reason.there was my salaam dua with them and the pressure i was able to create over emails . I doubt of engines ever give issues after going ok for 5-10k kms. 2-3 oil changes from dealership and then jo merzi kero i guess. If toyota sells some reasonable oil, may be they get kore loyal customers here

The moment i lost all trust with dealership was when i found they recommend using petron plus at 20k kms till 60kkms. 10w-30 mineral. I was like...kon log hain ye.... dealership guys said..sir u can keep using taglon till its life...we made this chart to keep budget under control...strange

@dani_kk and everyone, just a little confusion here, for longer drain intervals ~7-8k km, do we need to change oil filter twice? Even if oil filter is from OEM?

Well basically the oem standard filters are meant to be used for 15k km written in manufacturer manuals. But this thing varies. Like the environment kills the filter for like 10-12k km.
So if you're using liquimoly, amsoil or mobil oils which are meant for long drain intervals, you can drain at 10-12k mark safely...

If you're using other oils, drain it at 4-5k km.
However if you personally choose to replace oil filter at 7-8k km, it would be a performance oriented approach hence it would be better for ur car, but you would need additional 0.7-0.8L of oil addition due to oil filter replacement...

But if u say will the car engine be damaged at 10k so it is a no. It won't get damaged, you can use safely till 10-12k km.
