I'd love to see an internal combustion MG ZS sold alongside the ev in case they're truly thinking of local mfg, the ZS is very excellently priced everywhere and would do great here.

Here are the charging numbers for ZS ev:

You see for Kona & E-Niro we are talking 6-7 million which puts them in a very bad spot.

6 to 7mil would surely take them out of MG ZS competition and kill the sales. Even if its 6mil and not more there can be some hope.

This is going to be a great car. How are they planning to launch it so soon? Without a dealership’s presence?

If the expected price turns out to be true, then it is going to be a really great car in the CUV segment. It looks a lot like a make of Mazda, but I can’t expect much from Chinese makers as they’re known for copying other car maker’s designs.

This is going to be great for me as I’ve always wanted a car that I can use within the city without having to constantly switch off the engine during short trips while buying groceries, etc. If other occupants are staying in the car, the A/C can remain turned on without having to worry about wasting a lot of fuel while idling on A/C with the the engine turned on, as it would have been the case with any ICE car.

Just my thought.

The range isn’t too bad either, 350-300km is sufficient for city driving. I can easily travel from home to work and vice versa. Not bad at all. Positive change in my view.

fuel prices are not same for all time.fuel is not much used in pandemic situation thats why fuel prices are low.when inshallah this situation end prices are increasing automatically.

This is true but it assumes people are weighing this into purchase decisions which is not the case for the mass market. Strong governments around the world have incentivized ev's by providing subsidies which is difficult for weak countries like ours, we can hope for Chinese automakers to use the import duty exemptions in order to storm the market with options and I hope that happens and works out.

E-Niro would have been a good competitor of this car in Pak but then again E-Niro offers 453km of range, which is half of what MG ZS has to offer.

People in Europe, prefer E-Niro over Kona because of Kia’s 7 years or 100,000 miles warranty which is superior to Kona’s 3 years or 36,000 miles.

E-Niro is a great car but unfortunately our currency has gone to a point where it looks completely nonviable to me. The UK on the road price for E-Niro (without the UK govt grant) converted to pkr is equal to 7.7 million rupees i.e. Fortuner money and I doubt people are going to buy an E-Niro over Fortuner.

Sir but global price is not applicable in our country as suneel sir mentioned every weekly and live section if we are maintaining our fuel prices and quality with global prices then we'll get ultron in price orice of under 50rs.
