bro axio is the best oprtion but i doubt you can get a good axio g or luxel for 1.8 mil .most good cobdition cars start from 20 and goto 22 lacs easily
average is a very strong poiny on motorways 18 easily and local 12 max

Yes...but somehow passo does not seem balanced...like when I turned on the ac....the pick dropped considerably...now that is bad...that should not happen...considering that city picks smoothly with or without ac...if vitz is also like that then I would recommend to buy city instead of these underpowered cars...yes they are comfortable but if your pick dies after you turn on the AC...then that is really bad for any car...that is simply bad engineering...I never had this problem with city or knew this problem existed before I drove passo...

Main reason is the 3-cylinder engines which comes in Vitz and Passo. Vibration problem is very common after like 90-100k mileage and yes the pick isn't that good with AC turned on. City has a 4-cylinder L13Z1 engine which makes 100HP even better than Corolla's 2NZ.

I think the main reason is the bad fuel quality, people not knowing the appropriate engine oil grade to put in and ofcourse just straight up abusing the car and not taking care of it but again its just a 3-cylinder engine, cant do much. 1KR is fragile and sort of disposible engines.

Maybe the Passo you drove has some problem because the way you're telling that the pick dropped considerably after turning on AC is not the case with the Passo that I had in the past and Passo and Vitz are in no way underpowered cars. Based on the hatchback structure, 1.0 is a good placement, although not comparable with 1.3 or 1.5 still it generates pretty decent hp provided the Passo and Vitz is almost 250 kg less in weight than City. so I think it pretty much equalizes the power to weight ratio.

I don't think that's the only reason behind it being the 3-cylinder engine, because even the BMW X1 has the 3-cylinder engine, but it generates pretty good figures in terms of power provided its a 1.5

Old model Aqua is certainly a fine car, better than all the citys, swifts, cultus, wagonRs etc. Several leagues above.

but, you have to adjust the cost of the car's battery. If you're prepared to swap a new battery in case the battery goes down, which can in a very old car, then nothing to worry about.

A good car, very fast, excellent pick, great fuel economy. Just swap the battery when it malfunctions.

Is over-used battery the only problem in old model hybrids? I’m pretty sure the battery wouldn’t be that much expensive but the thing I am worried about now is if only changing battery will make it as good as newer models. I have 0 experience in hybrid cars but I’ll happily go for an old model prius if changing battery is only possible issue.

Don't forget that the st hybrid vehicle 100k plus maintenance costs twice or maybe more then twice of what a non hybrid vehicle costs

In a maintained car, yes, that will likely be the only major cost.

Don't forget that other cars too can have major issues, you will have to inspect and find a maintained car in any case, whether non hybrid or hybrid.

It's the ride quality, power, safety and features which are way ahead in an Aqua, than an old city, wagonR, cultus.

point is, he will have to inspect and find a decently maintained car. In that case, no hybrid will cause much trouble, apart from battery which can die.

once battery is good, there is very minimal maintenance, just oil and filter changes. Not sure on what planet you are living, as mechanically an aqua will outlast many pkdms.

For parts, have to go to scrapyards yes or import new ones.

actually people here fill the tiny 1krfe engine of vitz or passo with 20w50 and then say that these cars are slow. these thick oils eventually result in death of these engines and then people say that these are disposable engines whereas in rest of world these engines are clocking 300 and 400k without getting opened for any major work.

PS the manufacturer recommends 0w20 for these cars which very less people are using.

No...I own a city 2017 model...and it is a damn fine car...that is what I am saying...if you want a non hybrid and can go for a manual...Honda city is a very good car.......

so far all JDM write-off cars i have come across the under hood maintenance sticker always mentioned 5W-30 or 0W-20 oil grade.

used JDM smuggling stopped at end of 2017. means the cars which landed in 2017 were of model 2014.
transcribe it and in June 2020 all such cars are older then 6 years or more.

Hybrids carry a battery life after which battery bank need to be replaced.
in Pakistan there is zero support for such maintenance items. A battery bank from scrap yard will also be as old as the car.

buy a locally used local assembled car for which new parts support is in abundance. It is your money use it wisely.
