I've listened from many auto experts and mechanics that 5w-40 fully synth oil is for new cars having mileage less than 25000 km. Were the saying right?

Sir my car is 100000km driven.. My point is, can I use 5w-30 or 5w-40 fully synthetic in it. I was recently using 5w-30 but the last oil I poured was 10w-40. Engine of my car is in prestine condition. So can I use.?

5w40 or 10w40 is kinda same grade. If you consider oil viscosity at 100 degrees.

And 5w40 can be used in cars even with 80k +
If the car is under 50k km we recommend
5w30 oils. According to the car manufacturer.

5w40 karsaktay hain zaya hua toh mujhay message kardein apna account number apko oil ki amount pay kardunga

Yeh sirf hype create hui vi hai market mein bus.
Every mechanic suggests the thickest oil and they're observing the viscosity by fingers and saying chikness hai oil mein acha oil aur 5w30 ko bolte hain ye to paani hai.
Engine zaya kardega lol

So aap kya kehtai hain k 5w-40 use krun ya 5w-30.., I will use the grade Jo aap batain gai but sirf aik baat bata dain k koi garbar tou nahi ho gi bcoz abhi gaari mai 10w-40 dala hua hai.
Oil decrease ya phir leakage wala problem tou nahi hoga.

Brother, my sincere and honest advise to you:
Aap jitna zyada sochein gey, utna hi confuse hoon gey.
And aapko kisi "someone" ney galat mashwara dia hai.
Agar engine oil reduce na karay ya performance p faraq na aye, then no need to switch from 5w-xx to 10w-xx series.

And Don't trust mechanics. Traditional / classical mechanics know nothing about oil trends now a days. Unka buss chalay to wo brand new / zero meter 2018 model cars mein b 10w-xx series oil use karein...
Aap aankhein band kar k 5w-30 oil use karein, with 03 conditions:
Oil must be 100% genuine / original, API rating of SN and fully-synthetic. Do not go for semi-synthetic!
I personally use SUSTINA 5W30 SN/RC, so would recommend it. It is made and packaged in Japan.
Otherwise Mobil, Liqui Moly and Caltex Chevron are also excellent options.
Go for any well-renowned brand... but... Avoid ZIC!

Right now my car is giving avg of 13.5 kmpl at 140kmph with ac on with 10w40 oil ... Kya ye thik hai..
